The Sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya I

- Yuki wins the SOS Brigade the Athletics Festival team relay - with her batting prowess, why on earth did Haruhi associate her with sick girl moe during Lone Island?
- Ask and Haruhi shall receive - how did Yuki divert Literature Club funds to provide seed money for what will become The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina? If she's the only member, shouldn't it have been disbanded already?
- Why does Haruhi care whether or not the Student Council recognizes the SOS Brigade as an official club or not? It's not like they're stopping her from having her fun.
Yes Your Highness!

P.S. Have been ruminating over the following two posts for a while and I've had an epiphany. Yeah, slowpoke.jpg but still...
Endless Eight V

LOL at the unprintable expletives used by the kare of KKnM, who is not above the occasional rant, when we discussed this series last Saturday. At least he appreciated the different swimsuits, yukata and other outfits. ~Always look on the bright side of life~ Or Yuki.
Aeroplane and Cumulonimbus

Yes, it'd be nice if things can move on. But to those who are crying bloody murder, Mr T will retort on my behalf LOL; good grief, for most of us, this is free entertainment. And, guess what, KyoAni and Kadokawa will do whatever they want to do as long as they think their Japanese customers will continue to fork out the dough for it.
Endless Eight III

I'm much less with RP when he lamented about how he was:
sitting through an episode in which absolutely nothing new occurred
and much more with DKellis being
endlessly surprised by the distinct variations on the same theme. The staff of Kyoto Animation definitely have more imagination than I do.
Mostly because of how each episode is animated differently but mostly because how history repeats itself first as farce and then as tragedy for Yuki.
The Boredom of Nagato Yuki

Those of us who have already been spoiled via the light novel translations were probably smiling wryly to ourselves last week. But I do wonder if the feeling of realization by the unspoilt, back-pedalling on cries of filler WRT the previous episode, would have been sweeter; I still remember my surprised delight, after the 'WTF is this?' reaction to The Adventures of Mikuru. Though KyoAni probably expects that its primary audience has already been already spoilt rotten - as one of those, I have really enjoyed the execution of the contrast over a three episode arc thus far.
