Stripey is an anime-loving tanuki residing in Singapore. His interests in goth-loli/meido fashion and siscon drama have often been misconstrued as goth-loli-meido-sisconism. And contrary to popular belief, he did not acquire the stripes on his tail through the contravention of Section 376 of the Singapore penal code

Hontou in Taihen desu was born on blogspot in 2003 as a desperate voice to declare to the sizzling hotness of Suzumiya Akane and the idiocy of Takayuki for not picking her (Kiminozo). HnTd subsequently migrated to wordpress and came under the protective wing of his good brother, Zyl in Jul 2005. A botched migration exercise (thanks to tanuki IT savviness) saw the lost of control of the original site and almost 2 years worth of comments. (Okay I admit it. I was cheapskate and refused to pay HaloScan USD12 to have my comments ported... how I lament now...)

"Hontou ni Taihen desu" was named thus because of Stripey's unhealthy preoccupation with Minawa of Mahoromatic 2 way back. It was just a quip from her during the Mahoro 2 ED and he had no idea then, it was a prophetic declaration of how the series would end. He now lives with the constant reminder of how his favourite anime meido series crashed and burned.
