Sasameki Koto 13

A satisfying conclusion to the cour. Pleasantly surprised that the main problem was solved by toning down Ushio's skirt-chasing antics and showing her doing her best wrt her difficult family circumstances.

Sumika is also doing her best - Erica opines that "Sumika's inability to say anything" has less to do with "her weakness in the face of her feelings" but more with Ushio's "you're so not my type" block, taking it at face value and attempting to respect that boundary.

I look forward, with great interest, to see how Ushio can become more honest about her own feelings.

you should really venture in reading the manga…
you can probably skip first 12 chapters since the anime was more or less a 1:1 with the manga…
but what happens after really develops the characters alot, they also introduced a few new characters too (though some of those are already shown in the anime as background characters, since they are part of the class)

sasameki really is one of the few manga that leaves you craving for the next chapter, chapter after chapter…

ps: ponytail sumika is win.

Have started on the manga (5 vols, up to Ch 30). Am enjoying the humour a lot. And what a tangled mess re: Sumika x Ushio!
