Mammon doesn't need a shrine because he's in every shop
The various ways in which the "Washimiya town commerce and industry association" has embraced Lucky Star.

Otaku goods to getto the otaku yen

And decorations help to create the atmosphere

Though walking along the main road, straight ahead from the shrine's torii, the feeling of imminent tumbleweeds is inescapable

Like the shrine's ema and the dessert shop's balsamic vinegar soft cream, this shop also has an item

that is not event or limited edition driven, that we can buy and consume again and again

the simple yet tasty Kagamin bento

There's an A4 sheet to collect stamps when you buy from various shops (makes note to look for it)

I haven't even drunk the Evangelion UCC coffee I bought at AFA09 yet!

Not sure how much more business the shops selling non-otaku goods benefit from otaku spending spillover

They also probably wonder why we laugh at Cabbage and Orange Box

Minami love! (Even if this is Hiiragi Town)

I do wonder how many of the townspeople have actually seen the anime

I do hope Kadokawa Shoten/KyoAni doesn't make them pay license fees

Well, you have to give their town council points for trying to make a good thing out of the otaku invasion after the show aired, even if some of the attempts seem a tad… tacky.
