And so Touma taunted the mighty Misaka Mikoto, the third most powerful Ability User of the Level Fives of Academy City, the Ace of Tokiwadai, the Railgun herself and thus, as Keiri sayeth unto us, "bringing out all the kewtness in Biri Biri."

Good job, Touma! What a turnaround from me cheering when he was killed twice in Index-tan.

Another one for the project.

Touma without Misaka is like Misaka without Touma.. boring. After all, the only reason most people kept watching Index was for that dynamic, much like the only reason most people now watch Railgun is for their weekly Kuroko fix

it’s a well-known fact that while Touma by himself = meh (or lose), Touma+Biri biri is most definitely WIN.

I do wonder about the way Mikoto reacts to Touma treating her like a little kid – it’s something that she is not used to. But I also wonder if, via him, she is recovering a sense of a lost childhood for which she has been overcompensating for through her childish fashion sense?

LOL @ how Mikoto is rightly miffed at Touma for not taking her seriously. It must’ve been aggravating for her especially since she’s well aware of her status as a Level 5 even though she’s very humble about it. Guess the unconscious thrill of fighting a baffling opponent whom she can’t win against (for now) is too irresistible.

If I were Mikoto, I would have persuaded Kuroko to use her Judgment access to the database to find out just *what* Touma’s power is. Or at least find out if he was lying about being a Level Zero.

Though there are times when I think that "Imagine Breaker" should be called "Like Yeah Right Whatever" given that this is the default response to whatever amazing Ability is directed against him.
