Sasameki Koto 10

This will only hurt a bit at the start...
Summary:
Ushio, Kiyori and Miyako, having survived Tomoe's Yukari-sensei-style driving, arrive at the beach. Meanwhile Sumika is helping Azusa with the production of her novel and wondering what happened to her summer of Kazama. At the thought of still being able to catch up with the rest of the gang, Sumika is motivated to finish the job fast. But, by evening time, it's evident that job is still far from finished due to the high page count and realizes Asuza assumes she will be helping to man the event stall too. Unknown to her, due to Tomoe's exploded car, the camp has ended and the gang is heading home.
However Azusa spots a spelling mistake, the store photocopier runs out of toner, the nearby alternatives are not viable, Sumika trips and messes up the sorted pages which Azusa's mother slips on, spilling tea onto the pages. Azusa has another crying fit but Sumika get disaster recovery going - at least a few copies should be able to be salvaged, for the event, from the wreck. Defeated by events, Sumika finally gives up on seeing Ushio at the camp. At Yuri Fest, Tomoe, Miyako and Kiyori spot Ushio in disguise, visiting Azusa's booth. Sumika wakes up just in time to see Ushio who tells her she came back to see Sumika. Azusa awakens to see a deliriously happy Sumika. Though it seems that, for all their effort, Ushio is the only one who bought a copy.
Reaction:
Events dear girl events. Funny how things turned around for Sumika after she let go of her distracting thoughts and got rewarded in the end. It certainly reinforces her position as a worthy romantic lead while I can't help but agree with Miyako that Ushio is quite the tease. Though she also came out well wrt Tomoe's apology to Ushio (about ruining the camp with her dangerous driving) and her response - showing maturity on both ends.
Shinmaru's spot-on assessment of Azusa:
She’s being completely bratty... but deep down I can see she is not really a bad person — just incredibly misguided.
