GSC 1/7 Saber Lily ~ Evening Star
Final installment of my Saber Lily Sunday shoot. In contrast to the late morning shoot where the sun was already well overhead, the evening sun was shining in at a much more acute angle. No shadow over the face but throwing stronger shadows behind as a result.
With the sun at my back, most of the unusable photos were due to my own shadow intruding onto the photo. Surprisingly large number even though I don't have an ahoge.
Two nice angles to focus on Saber's cleavage; from the side and the approach sliding in from the top.
From the side again, this time with Caliburn out of focus.
And once more from the Avalon side.
The plastic bridge holding Avalon to Saber's left gauntlet is a fairly elegant solution, figure-wise though it's a pity, photo-wise. Certainly the figure was designed to be viewed optimally from just one angle (from the direction her gaze is focused).
That's a wrap!

Ooh, I really like that 2nd (full) picture. She’s casting such a strong and defined shadow that it almost looks like a mirror. And the angle is just great, gives her a really stern look. Another very nice photoshoot Zyl :>

You should see the dozens of shots that went disastrously wrong though. LOL
Thanks anyhow.

I intentonally checked the “evening” post first hoping that Saber would lose the skirt…

Wah bro, you really love this figure man.
I like pic Zyl66 a lot. It looks like one of those professionally-taken pics that commercial figures sites use to promote preorders.

With such a beautifully made figure, it’s hard not to love her. Though I have to say she is the only figure I have with me now so I’m also loving the one I’m with. Making plans for a shoot for Shiki or Signum-neesan next…
