CANAAN 11
Summary:
Just as Yuri Natsume is about to pop Maria and Yunyun for seeing the failed Canaan in ice, Alphard-oneesama intervenes, telling Maria to go save Canaan. Turns out Yuri is a Japanese military intelligence officer and also in cahoots with the Snakes and the CIA. After some light flirting, both depart - with Alphard being slightly perturbed at the resemblance between the failed and current Canaan, putting it down to the reaction of the Ua virus with synesthesia genes. Maria, Yunyun and Canaan meet up but the latter goes back in for Hakkoo when she senses the incoming US and Chinese forces. Alphard fights Liang Qi who then pops Canaan pills, goes on a trip thinking that her reflection is Canaan and is killed by the power of love. Canaan finds Hakkoo doing some dead nude cuddling with Santana in the morgue but is unable to extract her. She returns to Maria's huggie.
Thoughts:
We didn't see Hakkoo's crushed body but I sure hope she's dead and stays dead. Such an annoying character with her long misplaced grudge against Canaan and misunderstanding with Santana - though she did provide some laughs with her head-exploding voice and fanservice with neko cosplay. It's a pity that it is unlikely that the most annoying chara, Maria, will meet a similar side-splitting end. Liang Qi went out with a bang with her crazy jealousy finally getting the better of her though I feel a bit sad for her that it wasn't her beloved Alphard-oneesama who delivered the coup de grace even after revealing that she knew Liang Qi had betrayed her to the CIA. And it will be a LOL surprise if Cummings survives and jumps out at the finale shouting LOVE!!
More questions - we now know Yuri's true affiliation and who set up the troll on the Veep wrt Maria Dad but who was she talking to when reporting Santana's death and who's Sandy Tanaka whose will she has inherited? With a name like that, she should join Alphard's yuri harem but she really needs to lose those glasses first. And how did Alphard set the ice on fire? Or was it frozen methane?

The problem is that Yuri has no friends, but maybe she can turn things around at the picnic dayto with Alphard.

I think Alphard liked Liang Qi in a manner of speaking even after she knew of the betrayal she still kept Liang Qi around and tried to keep her well behaved. I think that with Liang Qi giving into her jealousy that Alphard wanted to know before the end came. Having Cummings euthanize Liang Qi was the only way he could hear the words he longed to hear, had it been Alphard Liang Qi never would have said them. As Alphard walked down the stairs she didn’t look happy, a little sad, but definitely regretful.
Hakko and Santana chose to disregard Alphard’s love and kindness and sought to ruin her good name. Alphard gave them a chance to be together and live out their lives in peace, but they chose to plot against her. It was a fitting fate Santana had a much more active hand in starting the tragedy, and even Canaan wonders if Alphard really did it. In the end Santana blamed Alphard for the deed despite the chance that she gave him and Hakko. Alphard could have killed him, but she didn’t and for her kindness she was repaid in hostility and slander.
