Endless Eight III

I'm much less with RP when he lamented about how he was:
sitting through an episode in which absolutely nothing new occurred
and much more with DKellis being
endlessly surprised by the distinct variations on the same theme. The staff of Kyoto Animation definitely have more imagination than I do.
Mostly because of how each episode is animated differently but mostly because how history repeats itself first as farce and then as tragedy for Yuki.

LOL Ultraman pose.

I know I've got it bad for Yuki but, nonetheless, I'm still surprised at how much more strongly, with each successive repetition, I get the urge in the aftermath of the revelation to gently embrace Yuki from behind and whisper softly into her ear: "I love you." (;T_T)

@ Nosgoroth
Just ask Nagato THAT same question, and you will probably understand…

My opinion would be much different if they showed us the 637 or whatever times they didnt go to the O-Bon festival, or one of the other 5 non-frog suit variations of work, and so on. I mean since KyoAni was re-animating everything already, it couldn’t be that hard to mix it up. My opinion would also differ if they’d ended it on a different note. When you’re waiting all episode for a revelation that never comes it can get very boring.
Besides, we all know Nagato enjoys the suzumiku action.

Fair enough, though I personally felt that our sense of frustration (which may really boil over if they do it again in the next episode) should have given us some empathy for the characters – but it turns out that most of us just prefer to behave like Haruhi.
