I knew you’d be all over this episode, hahahaha. WITH THEIR POWERS COMBINED, THEY BECOME CAPTAIN YURI! I also couldn’t help but laugh at the “I want to enjoy it too!” line. Ah, so good.
Oh shit, is that who that was? My god Saki is loaded with talented voice actresses.

It’s like, we share the same mind Zyl. We should make a doujin. I love how they turned a few pages in the manga that had little blushing or yuri innuendo into a steamy blush explosion that was on the cusp of hot sex in the park with tsundere toppings. I never thought I would say this…but fuckyeah Gonzo.

I lol’d a lot too during that scene. This has gone way past the stage where I would say “this has to be intentional”.
If you are referring to the line where Nodoka asks Saki why she was holding back, I think it was “sakki”, as in “before”, not her name

Nosgoroth is right – five volumes into the manga, Nodoka still calls Saki “Miyanaga-san.”
Yuri expectations are still high, however.

Nice mashup Kabitzin, I’ve added it to my collection. To be honest my Saki (Nodoka) image folder is growing only second to my K-ON (Mio) folder for this season’s show. I even have a hand full of yuri-themed images, mmmm…..

Actually Gonzo did ok with a recent pink-haired girls e.g. Amanda in Blassreiter. Though I heard, over at SS!AB, that Druaga SOU also had bad characterization. Maybe they had finally found a niche they don’t screw up!
Doujin sounds sweet, already imagining Saki nuzzling up to Nodoka’s boing as the latter strokes the former’s hair – except my drawing is worse than Yui’s guitar ability. orz

The one pink-haired character in ToD: SoU, Might the Fool, ended up being a robot imouto-wannabe (with pseudo-tentacles) who needed to be protected that Stripey would love. She was also the best of the Hyper Knights, and one of the better new characters. I’d say the hypothesis still holds.

I wouldn’t say “I’d fund it.”, but I’d definitely watch it. I like the over-the-top mahjong, and the way it’s being placed, I worry that Saki might be heading for a stalker lesbian future if she went on the “wrong” path. It’s a good worry though.
