Zaku – if you’d listened to the Anison CD, yes… some people buy them for the music. Especially Step and the AMG OVA covers. Those were great – and hearing “Cruel Angel’s Thesis” by Shizuka Itou was a treat.

Actually I haven’t managed to see the trailer yet. There’s been a brownout in the district I’m in right now and internet has been either reeaaally slow or non-existent.

On the CDs, you mean people actually buy them for the music? I can’t remember where I heard the CD sales numbers from – at that time, I had yet to convert to Hinagikuism but I remember feeling faintly awed at the powah of the KugiRie fanbase. Took a look at Amazon.jp and it seems that Hina’s chara CD ranks #32,225 and Nagi’s #34,670 – so yay for Hina on Amazon.jp at least!

In any case, I’m probably being paranoid because of the fear of karmic retribution for all those times I laughed at Stripey’s anguish after his extremem disappointment at how Mashiro was characterized in Otome. Every time he raved about Light Haired Lolis, I just couldn’t help but pipe up with a Mashiro “Ja zou!!” LOL
