For me, you see, it's still all about Ami

As an Ami fan, I heartily second Author's contention that:

there’s no problem for Ami fans if Ami gets a good end, and the good end does not need to involve beating Taiga.

I do wonder though - would Ami have even spared Ryuuji a second glance if, at the start, she did not want to "beat Taiga" by snatching Ryuuji away from her?

First impressions vs second chances. Or rather no chance. But Ami doesn't know the series is called "ToraDora!"

Always admire her sense of professionalism. Like the time when she did her utmost to prepare Taiga's dress and makeup for the Beauty Contest despite being busy with starring in the pro-wrestling show and MC duties herself. Likewise rehearsing with Taiga in secret.

Ah, it was really bittersweet how she warned Ryuuji about how he might not be the only one who got hurt: The silent cry of "Me too!"

Pissed off at Minori (X) + Pissed off at failure to break the shell of Minori for the Revolution of Minori's True Feelings (Y) + Pissed off at herself for being pissed off at X + Y = Seriously Pissed Off Ami

Suguru celebrated the awesomeness of Ami's awesome line: "Talking to you is like having a period." - simply the best woman-to-woman put down I've heard yet.

Especially if she’s been on Taiga aphrodisiacs!

    @ Author

    Thanks. Amended.

  6. Let me rephrase that.
“Talking to you is like the pounding of 300 fat men on my uterus whilst I throw up and simultaneously bleed from my hoohaa.”

  7. No, blue-balls is nothing like a period… and isn’t as protracted, most of the time, since at least a guy can get off whereas the period just lingers on and on, causing muscle aches and pains and everything else.

  8. You really have a way with words, Hinano :p
