Yuri Biri Biri Facerub Animated Gif II

Biri Biri is cool and spicy sweet; coming to Kuroko's rescue with her trademark Railgun shot and then comforting her junior.
I agreed with and delighted in most of what Dav wrote on Ep 21. I have a minor quibble though - Kuroko would "NEVER cry" after a horrible ordeal; methinks Kuroko does have a maiden's heart but her strong pride prevents her from doing so too often. Thus she will cry if (1) ordeal was truly horrible and (2) in Mikoto's chest - yuri desire aside, she seems less inhibited to let go in front of Mikoto when she's in Oneesama mode. When it comes down to it, Kuroko would dearly love to be spoilt by Mikoto.
Also it's great to see fellow Biri Biri fan Washi enjoyed this ep too; somehow my enjoyment is amplified by knowing a fellow fan is enjoying this too, such is the mystery of animu blogging.
He has a good point that Mikoto is probably used to Kuroko's "over affections" but I also think Mikoto's got a very kind heart and is willing to give Kuroko the benefit of doubt - recalling Mentar's observation about how she's "helpful and caring by deposition."

Please please don’t hotlink it (it’s about 4MB this time... orz). If you want to use it, please download it and upload the animated gif to your own hosting space.
Compared to the Ep 14 animated gif, this was even more humongous, packing in 167 frames (Each unique! Thanks for the tip, Kraker2k!) and the panning wasn't a problem (Thanks, Dav!), I actually think it makes a good transition when re-looping, should have added a black blank frame right at the end to aid that though.

That looks great *saves*. What program do you use to make these animated gifs?

Ah! Gifs make everything better. Thanks for this one.
I’ve been yuri-deprived since the days of Kannazuki no Miko and Strawberry Panic, so, unlike Kuroko, I *AM* desperate to get what I can of it! Good post.
I don’t suppose you have an msn or AIM address/screen-name?

Nihahaha~?
There’s a catch in the way I phrased about Kuroko. The key word -> “distressed child”. So yes, she will cry due to true trauma if it happens to her, just not in the manner of some young children wailing for comfort and attention when they get scared half to death (although she’s shown to exhibit this behavior based on her true intentions when Mikoto told her to step back in the battle with Dr. Kiyama…except that wasn’t out of trauma but rather happiness and admiration for her cool Oneesama). But I’ll admit I wasn’t clear enough in my description.
Anyway, great job on the gif!

It certainly saves me the trouble of opening and scrolling the video whenever I want to watch that scene (and I confess, I play it back very often).

Spoiler warning about the Railgun manga storyline, but I’ll try to keep it slight.

That’s one of the reasons why I consider Kuroko incredibly interesting: The fact that on one hand, she really deserves the attribute _brave_, she’s smart, courageous and capable, and yet oh soooo vulnerable when it comes to Mikoto. It’s very much like that she compensates her lack of “young girl” that she exhibits in her Judgment work with a particularly soft and googly-eyed adoration love for Mikoto.
The thing is that she _is_ very powerful (level 4) and also very devoted and effective in protecting others. However, in return, she also wants to be protected and cared for, and there aren’t many people who could do that. I believe that this will have been how they first met (obviously, I can’t know since it was never shown so far): Kuroko saw Mikoto’s raw power eclipsing her own – and fell for the girl who wielded it. To finally have someone give her what she had been giving to others in the past.

Thanks, Lupus. Photoshop CS and Image Ready. There’s a link to the tutorial in the Ep 14 gif post and Kabitzin’s Matsurika Guitar post.

Excellent exposition there, Mentar!
After skimming through the spoiler, I haven’t read those chapters yet but now after learning a bit about her past, I’d be more than happy to retract my statement
. Besides that, the revelation made me admire Kuroko even more! It’s about time I speed up my reading. Now, to get Volume 3 from Amazon JP!
