Unhelpful, unkind, downright outrageous
Toaru Shima Shima Tanuki strikes back after the first two hontou ni koma of 2009!
Background info, particularly those of you not lucky enough to live in our glorious Democratic People's Island Paradise Republic:
T.T. Durai: Brought a lawsuit for defamation against a newspaper but got brought down when it backfired rather badly.
Defamation Act: IANAL but methinks if something is true, it can't be defamatory. But burden of proof tends to lie with the defendant to show that it is true.
Dismissal without prejudice: Oft abused/confused term especially by IANALs like meself. Not sure but methinks that the most practical considerations in a Sg context are that both parties pay their own legal costs for this round and the suit can be brought again.

I think Truth as a defense against defamation also requires it to be in the public interest to disclose. So, is Stripey being a lolicon in the Public Interest? Who knows.
