Peter S, I'm really curious to know why you were disappointed in season two. And yeah, Ogiue really steals the show. With her otaku who hates otaku characteristic eventually explained (in the manga) with her back story, she's been really well thought through by the mangaka. The first one introduces Oguie, and it's wonderful. She steals the show like she should, quickly trading body blows with Ohno, while the rest of the splendid cast (they work so well as an ensemble) add their counterpoint. It fully lives up to the first series. I didn't care so much for the other two, but they're okay. I was disappointed in the second series. The three OVAs are a mixed bag.
