Lucky Star OVA
For me, this OVA confirms what an excellent choice Katou Emiri was for the role of Kagamin. Her lovely chemistry with Hirano Aya's Konata doesn't count against her either. Ahaha~♥
Visually, my favourite sequence was the transformations of Kagami, in rapid succession, into KagaMeido, KagaMiko, KagaRin and KagaMiku. More comprehensive series of caps over at Kurogane's post. Her twintails just make her perfect for the latter two.
But, as a whole, I enjoyed the above sequence most. Misao says: 'Love!' as she embraces Kagami and I've always enjoyed the two contrasts of, firstly, how she admires Kagami but Kagami doesn't seem to care very much and, secondly, how Misao resents how Kagami values Konata's friendship. Kagami's transition from her initially curt responses of 'Shaddup!' and 'Don't touch me!' to her more extended outburst of 'I'm not here to take part in the martial arts battle! I don't want to be your bride!' was just LOL as was her denial that she was being tsundere.
Unfortunately there's not been much to go on for Konata x Kagami shippers like myself. MEGAMI posters, in particular, can be such a tease - followed by the Hiyori Berserk Otaku Imagination disclaimer. While the higher screen cap above highlights how Kagami allows Konata to invade her personal space in a way she doesn't allow others (there's even a pair of unanimated 4koma where Misao gets slapped for pinching Kagami's waist but when Konata does the same thing, Kagami just blushes and grumbles); the physical contact even persuaded Kagami to relent in her reluctance to visiting the pet shop. The lower screencap above was also a nice example of how they support each other and how openly expressive they are when communicating with each other.
Having said all that, I can't really see any attraction that would take this beyond 'best of friends' even with my yuri googles on. 
But then again, that's what fan art and fan fiction are for, as the case of Hiyori in the anime and 4koma show acute authorial awareness of. :3
Just to mention, in passing, that I'm a much bigger fan of the cochocochoco interpretation (see here for a fine example of showing the tension in the, nonetheless very warm, attraction) than the rather more lugubrious Kagamin Bocchi universe where the driver is loneliness which I found to be too great of a departure from the happy-go-lucky atmosphere that defines the type of life being sliced in Lucky Star.

At least they kept the Animate Tenchou part short, which was the one I was most afraid of, given how they originally said that was going to be the main thing of the OVA. Although the best part for me about the Cinderella bit was how Tsukasa just gave Kagamin a deadpan stare as the latter woke up.

Yeah I’m kinda curious too =/ the fansubs I saw weren’t too convincing. It sounded like ‘Gattai’ but Kagamin apparently had some drool on making it abit incoherent :S

I’m not the right person for this, given my uneven hearing capability, but I thought I heard ‘gattai’ myself. The word isn’t really embarrassing on it’s own, but depending on the context used, it CAN cause misunderstandings.

Oh, and about that link Zyl… I was fairly unnerved at seeing Konata and Kagami drawn, well, normally, instead of the usual Puni-Plush-ish style used in the Lucky Star yonkomas.

I thought I was just hearing things, but I heard Misao’s “rabu” too. Lucky Star sure has a killer voice cast.
I have been searching the internets and the closest thing I have found about what Kagami said is cosplay-shitai or “I want to cosplay”.
Someone should get a copy of the script or ask Emiri Katou

Did you miss the DREAM episode?!
How come you didn’t mention anything about that?
I think this was the part that was most relevant to mine interest(Including the obvious Konami)
Everything in it was so….And it was Kagami’s dream!
I am still seeing it there. The yuri I mean. the Konami yuri I mean.
Hope for another OVA.

Hi Yuribou, I haven’t seen a translation yet but I’m guessing that if it gets uploaded to danbooru with the ‘translation_request’ tag, it should appear pretty soon as there’s quite a lot of art there by the same artist (‘kochoko’ tag).

Given that the EnA sub has translated Kagamin’s reset phrase as:
‘I want to (inaudible) with Konata’, I must revise upwards the Yuri Quotient of this OVA considerably!!!

Gattai (?? / ????) can mean
1: union; coalescence; amalgamation; combination; alliance; annexation; incorporation
2: copulation; penetration
So Konata isn’t mentioned at all, and the word gattai just has a suggestive meaning. I’ve seen another sub that translated this as “Combine…!”, and I think that’s a better translation than the EnA sub.

Thanks, I had no idea about the latter connotation – I’ll never see Kamina chasing after Simon and shouting ‘Gattai!’ in quite the same way ever again. :0
