Interesting problem for a shinobi... something to do with Fuuma Koutarou's speciality of being able to change his form? The latter failure at marking her target could have more due to Miharu's ability to give people the slip though there might be overlap with her 'condition'.

I found the chara art a bit strange at first (and seems rather different from the manga) but it really grew on me. It's really quite gorgeous now... I was expecting Raimei to be bitchier (like Asuka) or more high and mighty (like Eri Sawachika) or shoutier (like Tina Foster). But she's pretty nice. And pretty normal. Apart from the shinobi part. And pretty. So much for my established blonde gaijin stereotypes; somehow FEITO is not part of that canon. Probably because she is an alien from another planet/time-space/dimension. Even though she has an Italian surname... -_-;; Of course I wondered about her parentage... blonde girl with Japanese name has a precedent in charas like Eri, of course. But I wonder how that will play in the larger canvas of the story. I'm more confident that Thobari Kumohira Durandal's Irish upbringing will probably play a part in how things play out.

Heh, it’s hard to tell if Raimei’s thing is a condition or joke…but I’m leaning more towards the latter with the general atmosphere the manga gave off.

Give her a tan and blue-gray eyes, and she’d be a pretty good match for Triela (of Gunslinger Girl fame). I think somewhere out there there’s some kind of Bog Book O’ Chara Designs, and the “Blonde Twintail” entry has a stickied note “For Use With: Bad Asses”…

Raimei and him have a great friendship (especially in the manga). I’m happy Raimei’s character isn’t one of those really annoying girl characters. She’s tough, yet still girly.
