ARIA The Origination 1
Among other things, deftoned Orion notes the pulling power of green haired, tsundere loli which will definitely get the shima-shima tanuki paw-stamp of approval. Even though Alice gets some of the best lines of the series, my preference is still for her senpai (Orion also has an animated gif of her AWESOME 'Subdue Crying Brat' waza).
And now that Totali has pointed out Alice's seiyuu's other big role in a current series, I do find that she does sound like a less tsundere version of Tama-chan. Will be totally LOL if Alice waves her oar and shouts *say it with me folks*: MEN!
Okaerinasai, Athena-senpai!
I find Alice and Athena's relationship to be the most interesting of the three pairs and was glad that it was explored in The Natural, culminating in the line from Alice that she would accept help from Athena in her shadow hopping game because Athena wasn't just anybody. There's obviously the senior-apprentice dynamic that underlies the Aria company and Himeya company duos too, but Alice often seems to undermine the hierarchy by getting the verbal upper hand over her senpai as in the above case. Athena comes in as Alice is talking about how cool Athena was in soothing the Savage Sprog (without realizing that she was embarrassing Athena) and then covering up her admiration by saying she was telling everyone about a Clumsy Athena story.
The cheery on the top was Athena going 'Eh~~~' just like Akari when she's 'embarrassing remarks are not allowed' by Aika. Whom I am sooo glad has not regrown her hair.
And I prefer short hair Akira too.
Don't you think we need a prequel OVA dedicated just to the three of us?
Like Fisherman Horizon, I have been looking forward to this given that the winter season doesn't look like it's going to be particularly exciting. But, as Jeff Lawson has said, there's a bittersweet note to this to - this is probably the last season of ARIA. Ah, sky under no have not end party feast (?????????). Looking forward to a good season and nice ending.

Well, it depends on the number of episode for this season. If this was a 13 episodes and do not cover any material in the manga, then there’s possibility for another short season. If this was a 26 episodes, it might be the last season but only if it covers the material in the anime. Personally, since there’s 2 more chapters=2 more months to go, I think this might not be the last season. It’s uncommon to have a last season while the manga has not yet ended. Nevertheless, let’s enjoy this season with joy.
