ARIA The Origination Promo

Well, I was hoping that Akari would not be regaining her baby fat post-Arietta. Alas the screencap above suggests that HAL Film Maker has reverted more towards to the character designs used in The Animation and The Natural TV series.

Nonetheless I am very much looking forward to this series. Scenery porn (TM - Sean Gaffney) and yuri innuendo FTW.

I like how this post is yuri-tagged XD I prefer Akari with baby fat since she (and don’t take this the wrong way) looks younger.

Actually, while I liked the character designs from the Aria OVA, I think the regular ones from the first two seasons are fine too.

Hooray for more ARIA. While I loved the OAV, having gotten used to the style used during the previous two seasons, I have no problem to it reverting.

But, for Haruhi’s sake, they better fix the strange way they drew the back of Akari’s hair during the second season; it looked unnatural.
