Are you an anime-lolicon that could turn into a RL-pedo?

Have you ever met a bishoujo so cute in RL?

One of the most memorable Hontouni exchanges goes like this;

Stripey: In my years of teaching nine year olds, I've never met anyone like Fate (Testarossa).

Zyl: Good for both of you.

Instantly, I knew my good brother was right. Fate had all that I'm drawn to in a woman even if she took the form of a nine year old. So meeting a RL Fate could potentially add more stripes to my shima shima shipon. In fact, an encounter with a RL Mashiro (Mai HiME), Kanami (SCRYED) or any lolis on this list, could massively decorate my derriere.

Frankly, I have been getting worried with Fall's onslaught of lolicious bishoujos - Hinako (Myself; Yourself), Lapis (Rental Magica), Konoe (Shana II), Anzu (DCII) just to name a few. Is it really ok to continue raving about these underaged anime beauties? What if the 2D obsession literally takes an extra dimension? Thankfully, after much reflection on my interaction with RL girls of ages 7 to 17 yrs. I came to the conclusion that even if I could be classified as a type of anime lolicon, it'd NEVER translate into RL pedophilia. This is predicated on the belief that the anime lolis I like DO NOT EXIST in RL.

However, I can't say that I speak for all. There are some classes of anime-loliconism which I deemed to be more prone to cross the dimensional rift than others. Check your risk against my hastily thought up loli-classification.

Class A - The imouto-esque Loli (Kyon sister ~SHnY or Kokoro ~School Days)

If you find Kyon's sister or Kokoro exceedingly cute like the ewoks in Star wars, you're safe. However if you have been fapping to Haruhi dojin featuring Kyon sister or Kokoro's hentai cutscene in Summer Days - high risk. The problem is that RL versions of these children exist. Pray you never meet one.

Class B - The precocious Loli (Hazuki ~ Tsukuyomi or Rin ~ Kodomo no Jikan)

The deadiest type of loli since they are true Lolitas. They are seductive yet childish. Part girl part woman, they ooze both ensnaring sexuality and disarming innocence. If you are drawn to such a mixed aroma, there's a good chance your loliconism can straddle that missing dimension. I have met such precocious girls and I know I pass the test. Either that they are not as cute as Hazuki/Rin. Anyhow, I'm NOT investigating further.

Class C - The inhuman Loli (Primula ~Shuffle, Lapis ~Rental Magica)

For some reason, anime like to designate robots, demons or supernatural beings as light-haired lolis. This happens to be one of my most favourite classes of lolis because there is great potential for character development. Think of them as Rei clones who discover their humanity despite the intrinsic lack of it. Unseen and unheard of in RL. ~~Fap away!~~ A safe class of loli obsession.

Class D - The selfless Loli (Karada ~Asatte no Houkou, Kanami ~Scryed)

This class of lolis are mature beyond their age and are characterised by an altruistic kindness that is almost extinct in humanity not to mention the mostly self-serving kids nowadays. My favourite class of lolis. Feel free to love them to any degree because they deserve it and you're unlikely to find a RL equivalent.

Class E - The tragic Loli (Gretel ~Black Lagoon, Mashiro ~Mai HiME)

Since it's more sympathy than love, affections for this class of lolis is only a sign of being human. It flows from the same source as the tears shed for seeing child massacres or abuses in the news. This class of loli exist in RL but I have faith in Hontouni readers that none are beastly enough to reenact any anime-fantasies on such suffering children. A tentatively safe category though out of good faith for Hontouni readers.

Since I'm mostly into Class C, D and E lolis, I declare myself an anime lolicon whose loli-love is free of any RL bearing. Phew, that sure was a reassuring self-diagnostic. Now for my daily intake of Myself; Yourself ep 6.

yeah, C Class lolis are quite nice…
you just can’t help but feel moe for them…
you also just can’t help to help them be more human…

Class E loli’s are also nice…
you just can’t help but protect them as any selfless onichan would…
this is also the class of loli’s that really leave a deep impression on me…
like ep 3 of second barrage…
or those arcs of higurashi where satoko’s uncle returns…

i have a deep respect for Class D lolis…
though for me they aren’t as moe as Class E and C…
overall they gain the highest respect from me…

Class A and B, for me are cute… but nothing more than that…

all in all… like you… I also declare myself an anime lolicon whose loli-love is free of any RL bearing.

I think I’m more like B, C, D. Add Nanoha to the list in Class D

I have been pondering a lot about this too, but to even think of linking lolicon with pedophilia is something unthinkable to me. No matter how deadly Rin’s escapades in KoJika are, or how cute Nanoha’s personality is, I know that this is because they aren’t real. If I see a 9 year old girl on the buss, I see a 9 year old girl, nothing more nothing less. And I get disgusted everytime I hear about a pedophilia case on the news.
I frankly hate when people think that you’re a pedophile because one’s taste in anime is biased towards loli characters. In real life I have always been attracted to girls either the same age as me, a couple of years younger than me at tops, so I think one can even be a Class A lolicon and still not be a RL-pedo.

flaskis: Agreed. Personally, there is a huge disconnect between the anime lolis I like and RL children we meet. In fact, the traits I like in the anime lolis are sometimes so ideal, you’d never see it in RL even with the gentlest, kindest and emotional most mature woman you come across.

If anything, I see them as mischievous imps.

Personally, I prefer my anime girls to be older.

I thought about my pedophilia risk a couple of months ago, and I came to a conclusion: “I love Mizuho-sensei more than any loli in the world.” And that thought gave me a sweet sense of ease, so I think I’m pretty safe from the pedophilia filth.

Class A you don’t want to do anything but protect. Like Touya from Cardcaptor Sakura. Yukito teases him all the time about having a sister complex, but all that refers to is his undying passion to protect her from all the evils of the world, not to take her selfishly and sexually for himself.

Class B doesn’t really exist (thank goodness). Or if they do, it’s in parts of the world I’ll never ever be. And I would probably be too sad at their state of life to take any sort of advantage…

Class C I guess is okay. I do like Multi-HMX12 from ToHeart, but I haven’t actually lusted over her. I just want to own one, too. Or a Sumomo mobile perscom.

Class D you revere, like Daidouji Tomoyo. Because they’re so selfless, you just have to be that way in return.

Class E I just want to watch from afar, like in fiction on anime. I would be too depressed seeing them in real life.

Actually, I’m more of a Yagami Hayate fan. -_^ The MSLN series are rather lacking in Psycho-moe anyway, and most of my fixes come from the doujinshi 4Komas; especially from Q-Ice.

Mr. Stripey, this whole post tells me quite clearly that you think just being sexually attracted to real life young girls is bad. Now I was going to launch on a long winded paragraph to counter that kind of thought, but I realized Mr. Ewan (scroll down to the 6th response) has already did this for me. My punchline is this: It’s a shame that the word “pedophile” has gained such a negative connotation.

Erm… there is a stark difference between the usage of “lolicon” and “paedophile”. Which one are you trying to defend? A lolicon is not necessarily a paedophile, while a paedophile can be said to be a lolicon who has taken his fetish one step too far.

Think of the “Square = Rectangle, Rectangle != Square” analogy as an example.

Muir Woods: I think the key word here is sexual attraction. Actually I consider myself rather liberal when it comes to love. I actually think young children can love as adults if they have the required emotional maturity. So yes, romantic love in the adult sense when applied maturely and responsibility, I approve even for children. But for the sexual aspect, I think children are just not equipped physically for such acts and any imposition of sexual wishes on them are exploitative. Of course I’m speaking about children below 13.

If you are afraid of having bad tendencies… just call Higurashi No Naku Ni Koro Ni’s Killer-Lolis to the rescue!

Nonetheless I’m afraid pedos “disguised” as lolicons exist IRL and are even living happily. IMO they should just be hunted down and eventually castrated. Why such violence you ask? Well, I personally know a victim of such a monster and believe me, a LOT of people would just have the urges to kill pedos if they were ever to fully realize just how a victim’s lifes is ruined just because some piece of garbage forgot to get a brain.

I do believe whatever one’s tendancies, there is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for assaulting a kid!! There is no such thing as having a higher or lower risk of ending up a pedo, in the end whoever you are it’s all a matter of connecting your brain and realizing that kids ARE NOT what adults/mangakas(?)/YOU may think they are! Just remember how shallow your understanding of the outside world was when you were a child (heck, most of us even believed Santa really was out there at some point)!!

Truth is, even if anime-like lolis existed IRL, one still would HAVE NO EXCUSE for attempting something with them. A kid IS A KID, END OF DISCUSSION! The right decision when meeting RL Fate would be “Well, see ya in a few years, and if u still fancy me by then maybe…”, anything else would be terribly harmful for both persons if it ever were to get beyond friendship.

I’m usually very open minded about lots of kinds of “relationships” but I will not support anything where there is harm involved, especially when I’ve seen the “results” with my very own eyes.

IMO you just can’t be a pedo no matter what if you care about other people and if you understand your duty as someone older to protect the persons you cherish and value the most. Basically it would be just about the same if you were suffering siscon, and were afraid of going all 3D (oh wait! Isn’t Stripey a loli-siscon?! )
