Goodsmile Company 1/8 Alicia Florence (ARIA)
Just when I'm starting to suffer withdrawal syndrome from the dearth of figure purchases of late, beautiful Alicia arrives. And surely it's by the will of Haruhi that I also very recently completed Aria the OVA ~ Arietta so my adoration of Alicia is at its zenith. This figure is definitely a worthy avatar of our Neo-Venezia top undine.
A coy yet womanly pose that is so Alicia. I have a weakness for girls tucking hair behind their ears. It's... it's... it's so moe. XD Sculpt-wise, Alicia is impressive with a detailed bale of pleated hair and a fluttering skirt that seem to have life of its own.
Sadly, I can't say the same for her paintjob. My main lament would be the stripes on her uniform which has demarcating depressions that her painters obviously find hard to follow. Of course it's only obvious upon scrutiny so it knocks few points off the overall aesthetics of the figure.
And yet another worthy addition to my PVC harem. Can't wait for a 1/8 Alice figure from Goodsmile.

btw have you decided on which Fang-tan meido you are going to get? Max Factory or Alter?

Heh, I only feel compelled to do them when they’re not covered elsewhere. Not much of a review actually, just a short blurb to show that my figure passion still burns brightly.
Tsuruya san is a very clear choice for me. MaxFac. The facial sculpt for MaxFac’s Tsuruya is waaaaay better than Alter’s.

Nice figure Stripey, I really liked Alicia and this figure does do her justice.. I agree the hair looks really well done and in this picture:

Very lovely figure indeed. Been sitting around my room for 2 weeks while I try to figure out where to put her. Kind of funny how Alicia just doesn’t look without the Aria President… I guess it has to do with balance?

moyism: Ah I think it’s the base. There’s a lot of space set aside for Aria President which’d make the figure lop-sized if President was absent from the display
