Lucky Star 21

LOL at Tsukasa's ComiKet trauma. Not really as serious as Chiyo's Yukarimobile psychological scarring though. I think I spent about the same amount as Konata during my three days with the toll evenly divided between doujins, goods (plushies and tote bag) and t-shirts.

Yutaka sure knows how to pick 'em!

Yes, the deer in Nara are really that aggressive. One of my friends came back from those temple grounds with a hoof mark right smack in the centre of her forehead. The deer immediately surrounded her like ninja after the biscuit selling obaasan handed over the goods; they did headbutt her like what happened to Tsukasa but were much more aggressive. When she raised the biscuit over her head, they went up on their hindlegs and one of them landed a foreleg hit on her head. When I was there years ago, it was just after Obon. They were lying all over the floors, unable to walk because their bellies swollen with all the offerings of the hordes of recent visitors, but the greedy bastards were still stretching their necks up at me, going: 'Feed me! feed me!' My friend took great delight in her revenge by buying biscuits and waving it right in front of their faces before sauntering off.

Does that mean that Konata wants Kagami to jump her?

GIANT POCKY.

A homage to a homage. Sweet!
I've been to that marriage temple too and drew a Bad Luck fortune. orz But the area around Kiyomizu-dera is beautiful; the street leading up to it sells exquisite ceramics and delicious pickles; the little shops sell delicious kitsune soba, okonomiyaki and refreshing local beers. Even remember sitting under a huge tree and eating shaved ice with sweet sake. I'll have to go back and visit again sometime.

Konata notices that Kagami has got Boys on her mind.

Back home, we have a saying: 'A hungry man is an angry man.' Looks like the reverse works too as Kagami does a Saber!

Another place to pay a pilgrimage to next time round!

We ♥ Kagamin!

Kyoto is an amazing place to visit, especially in the fall when the maples all turn color. I remember last time we went there it seemed like around every corner we saw another school group like Kagamin-tachi–damn, we never got to go on any overnight field trips when I was in high school…

I don’t think Konata knew it was actually boys, Kagami had on her mind!
But Oh well, whatever makes more emoticons!
And for the love of Yuki-tama Zyl, stop putting weird ideas in my head (Does that mean that Konata wants Kagami to jump her? + GIANT POCKY.)

Wow, sad times! Did it actually leave a visible hoof shaped mark that stayed on her forehead? It would be kind of embarrassing to have to walk around like that.
I thought that was pretty cool, too. KyoAni sure didn’t waste any time working that into their production, either!
