I was so not inclined to buy this issue because Louise was the cover-girl. So Stripey can have this issue now that I've browsed the relevant Lucky Star and StrikerS articles and liberated my favourite stuffs - mainly this lovely Konata x Kagami swimsuit poster:
Ta-dah! Ain't it lovely (k, Konata's head seems a tad over-sized though)? Particularly like how Kagamin is snacking and torn between looking happy and embarrassed. Ah sweet Kagamin!
On the reverse side is Rein-chan and her harem.
Subaru and Gin-nee ♥! Especially with the AWESOME episode 17. The magazine also comes with a detachable StrikerS The Comics (Episode 8 #3.5 - New Days) which gives more background about the daily routines of the newbies after joining Riot Force 6. LOL at Tiia going 'Ah... Ah...' when Caro is healing her, Nanoha's description of the Stars combi which Hayate imagines like a corny movie poster and subsequent comparison to when Nanoha was loli, Tiia breaking the ice with Erio and Caro by messing up their hair (and Subaru restoring some order).
Ah, the Siesta hug pillow is certainly something that can be considered. Apologies for the blurry photos.

Yes, I got the Megami for the Kagamin posters, as well as a few others. Although that StrikerS poster looks better than half the series put together… sadly enough.

StrikerS would have been nice as a 3-6 eps OVA with a super high budget =\. I definitely agree with Haesslich about the posters.

Thanks for the quick overview for this month’s issue! Doesn’t look like I’m missing too much this time for my tastes…needs more Fate or Yuki…they’re almost always paired with other characters, or stuck in the background

Well, the animation quality for MSLN and A’s weren’t exactly very high either. Remember the fugly Book of Darkness defence program monsters? Oh my eyes… X_x Yeah, but agree with Kabitzin that a better animated and paced StrikerS would have totally roxxored. I’m just happy with whatever Nanoha x Fate crumbs that have tossed my way. *lap lap lap*
abao, I’ve been having some issues myself since I upgraded to WP 2.2.1 – some of my plugins are broken e.g. tagline randomizer. Spam Karma 2 may have issues too… except I don’t notice because I’m logged in as admin when commenting. BTW I’m using Firefox 2.0.0.5 myself so I doubt it’s a browser issue.
Ashram, glad you enjoyed it – I’m waiting for Shingo’s review myself – his are always more comprehensive and will have a tally of all the posters.

Seeing Rein and all those items made me wonder why no one transforms with their cell phone. Cell phones are everywhere now! I can see the conversation now:

You could add a 6 chamber belka strap, too. The only problem I see with this is if you are in an area that doesn’t get good reception, and your costume gets all messed up.

Well… one should remember that the animation was improved by leaps and bounds in the DVD releases. Sub-par animation in the initial TV releases was something that has always been the case since the first season.

Holy crap, I didn’t realize that there was such a huge difference with the DVD releases versus TV…seems like they ended up redrawing/refining most of the episodes…? Hope StrikerS gets picked up for R1 release in addition to the first two seasons at some point.

Word. I did a quick comparision between the DTV Triad subs and the DGz DVD rips of the first two seasons, and hoo boy have the art slaves been whipped harder for the latter…
Then again, by what I know of how many episodes they usually put in one DVD in Japan, the amount of moolah they charge for it would be sheer daylight robbery otherwise. >_<

It’s amazing, really – the story still sucks, but the art at least isn’t eye-gougingly bad. Nanoha-chan looks like herself again.
I can’t wait to see White Devil Mode Nanoha in DVD format.

I bought the exact same Megami magazine (87).. ’twas my first magazine anyway, and to my disappointment, I couldn’t find the poster anywhere. Any ideas? The magazine was shrink wrapped, and it had all the other posters, except for Lucky Star and the Lyrical StrikerS.
Help!! :~(
Where are the posters usually placed anyway? And is there anyway I can remove the other pinups without damaging the magazine?

Jayars, if you still have your receipt, you should go back to the retailer to complain or get a refund. The Lucky Star and Rein poster (reverse sides of the same piece) are supposed to be there, it’s usually right in the middle, unattached.
As for the pin-ups, I don’t normally remove them – would appreciate the advice of others who do.

sigh… dunno if they’ll just ignore me, since I DID open the shrink wrap (no other way to find out).
In the mean time, I’ll be trying to do everything that I can…eg, shake the magazine, sweep-search my room, re-trace my steps, etc. Dammit, first time purchase = disappointment… sniff sniff
