Heaven and hell – Anime edition
Anime heaven is where the pacing is SUNRISE, the action is Madhouse, the harem is ZEXCS, the artwork is KyoAni, the ending is JC Staff, the character development is BONES, the CG is GONZO and Doumu is faraway in hell.
Anime hell is where the pacing is BONES, the action is ZEXCS, the harem is Madhouse, the artwork is Doumu, the ending is SUNRISE, the character development is GONZO, the CG is JC Staff and KyoAni is faraway in heaven.
Disclaimer: The above statements are gross overgeneralisations mainly for anime fun and not designed to spark the XXXVII Studio Flamewar. I do have specific series in mind when casting the studios in a certain light even though they are probably not representative of the studios' works. Pls feel free to contribute your own versions/thoughts. Just for the record, I don't think JC Staff does crappy CG. Like KyoAni, there wasn't any real weakness I could think of...

Xellos-_^: Gainax – The thing that stood out for me is Mahoro 2 and Eva’s endings. But SUNRISE GSD’s finale pwned both XD
Hinano: I wanted to include Bee Train so badly on the list that I almost listed “flashbacks” as their strength. LOL!
Ivy: Actually I almost put SUNRISE in action hell for all the reused footages they use for gundam battles. XD But considering their Mai HiMEs and SCRYEDs, I guess they didn’t deserve that
Double love for Mai HiME! 
Zzz…: Haha! Well, I’m under the conviction that a dash of harem can spice up any story. XD Code Geass, Suzumiya Haruhi have a strong undercurrent of harem guiding the plot and that makes it so much more engaging.

Steven Den Beste: Gainax’s penchant for trainwreck endings… *chokes on memories of Mahoromatic 2 and Evangelion* I enjoy Gainax fanservice and it worries me since they apply this talent of theirs mainly on cute 14 yr olds… XD

Heh, sorry for the lull… the truth is I am busy with the ceremonies and celebrations that officially made Ms Nauzron Mrs Stripey. Zyl was there and he wished me a Konata soon.. a blessing that sent chills down my spine. XD

Oye….. congratulations and sympathies and all that. yeah, I wished very hard for a Konata of my own but the fates decreed two sons. Fortunately, both of them keep bringing home girlfriends who are seriously cute geekette gamerz and anime watchers … so life is relatively good.
Of course, I still have She-who-looks-rather-like-Kona-mom-but-acts-like-more-like-Kagami so I should shut up and be happy.

Thank goodness! I finally know another local who uses BGMs from Star Wars for their “Wedding March”. ^^; In my sister’s case, it was the opening BGM, the one that plays as the yellow text scrolls upwards on the screen.

Wow that’s grand! Actually I jest. I’ve only gone thru part 1 of 3 of my wedding rites and will be using “Innocent fields” (Figure17) for my wedding march during the impending part 2. Trying to insert “Sadame” and “ensei” into the fesitivities but have yet to find a suitable application.

Actually BONES pacing isn’t that bad. I was just thinking of Wolf’s rain’s 4 recap eps when I tagged them 
Anime heaven is probably where BeeTrain does the flashbacks…
