Pani Poni Dash! 20
One of my favourite episodes of this series, not least because of the OP, Shoujo Q. The main story line relates to Himeko being taken over by the Matango mushroom alien (which had replaced her ahoge since a few episodes back) and Becky being traumatised by Matango-Himeko no longer loving her. The scene caps, however, celebrate other stuff. Such as Kurumi's lesbian tendencies and turning the yuri goggles on Serizawa x Kurusu.
Absolutely wonderful how incredibly excited Kurumi sounded (voiced by the excellent Kana Ueda) when she asked Himeko to say boku more. If that's her main criteria, she'd probably also be attracted to Asa Shigure (and her mom!), Ayu Tsukimiya, Sakura Yoshino and others.
On the other hand, we also see Kurumi salivating at the sight of shorter hair Himeko so I'm guessing it's not just the use of the boku pronoun but a tomboyish appearance that floats her boat too.
My question is: What figurine would tjhan be wielding if and when he gets hold of the firing control of the super secret orbital GDPRSAF (Glorious Democratic People's Republic of Singapore Armed Forces) death laser? And who would he blast?
Pure oneesama and win is Rei Tachibana.
Serizawa and Kurusu being distracted from their impending fight by Himeko's Matango outgrowth. You know that a feud is really serious when both groups can no longer remember what was the cause of the feud.
Just like the sub-title says. LOL I was particularly tickled by how Kurusu's Godzilla now had a helmet - with a ribbon on it. Latter should have been a dead-giveaway of her identity though.
Besides the whole Montague versus Capulet dynamic, there's also some imagery which I thought was strangely sexual. Like the way the milk spilt on Kurusu and how she licks some of it off her finger.
Sounds like a date to me. I quite like how they are both extremely nice to each other, in the exaggerated sort of way that comes from a courting pair who are despearately preoccupied with ensuring that their opposite number likes them, or at least, has no reason to dislike them. Also found it quite cute how Serizawa addresses Kurusu with the "-chan" against her surname rather than her given name of Yuzuko. Looking forward to more development on this angle in the next episode plus how they almost discover their respective club affliations!

Serizawa is totally AWESOME in Ep21. It totally elevated her status from side character to contending main character.
Kurumi however, remains my number one favourite. Did you notice her twin ponytails in this episode?
Out of all the girls, Kurumi’s hairstyle changes the most throughout the series.

Which fansubber did you watch for this series..? It has much more complete addendum commentary than what I watched..
Like they say, Kurumi is famous for her being plain..

Skane, yeah – the fun thing is that no one notices Kurumi’s hair style changes.

Few shows have great a opening song and animation. PPD has even three of them. The 3rd which was used in episode 20 is my favourite. The sound reminds me of RockMan (MegaMan) tunes. The animation is pure art, not some collage from other in-show animations or the like and absolutely gorgeous.
