The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 7

Rumblings of heresy. Even among some of the princes of the church. "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu is still great but..." particularly whinging about the episode sequence. Bah! God reveals herself in strange and mysterious ways and it is not for us mere mortals to second guess her. In short, I find your lack of faith disturbing. *heavy breathing*

Verbal terrorising of Mikuru by Haruhi. Check.

Eye power terrorising of Mikuru by Yuki. Check.

Mikuru sobbing. Much mirth and joyful laughter on my part.

These screenies would have been just perfect for Moyism Ero Mosaic
but I'm too tired after my exams to do anything more.

[Edit: I asked and I received. Praise be to the name of Moyism!]

Haruhi black faced moé

It was pretty funny as well when Itsuki made reference to previous KyoAni productions when he attacked the giant CG cricket. If I had to choose an anime series name for a battle cry, something not so long-winded would help. Right now I'm leaning towards the episode titles of GITS:SAC 2nd Gig.

I also enjoyed how Yuki seems to have a special regard for what Kyon thinks especially when contrasted with how she ignored some of Itsuki's questions or comments. Tomokazu Sugita really heightened my enjoyment with a great performance with the Kyon sarcastic narration. My favourite line in this episode was Mikuru-related - the wonderfully lecherous way he said "an-ge-l" when Mikuru finally arrived at the clubroom.

Onward now, from the half-way point.

Ah I guess that depends on how much you understand the object of your faith. Anakin or Vader? Sister or princess? Personally, I believe folks on the haruhi ride for humour alone for example, would eventually be disappointed. Its real strength lies in KyoAni’s very anointed characterisations/inspired storytelling. Love Kyon monologues this ep. Solid voice acting.

On the other hand, faith in Moy’s funnies is never misplaced.
