DCII Game Prelude – The many faces of Shirakawa Nanaka

I just bulldozed through the prelude to DCII ~Haru kaze no Ultimate battle (a free demo btw) with special attention on Asukura Yume and Shirakawa Nanaka. Despite my pathetic Japanese, I actually enjoyed the Nanaka moments very much.
A Brief on the premise
It's March and graduation time. Our cast are still in year 2 of middle school and the classes are tasked to put up activities for the Graduation Party (ala Cultural Festival) with a prize at stake. The protagonist's (Sakurai Yoshiyuki - Mr Nii-san AND Otouto-kun.... yes a double dose of bro/siscon this time round) class 2-1 sets up a "Yaki-Onigiri eatery" (meh!) which obviously is no match for Classs 2-3 's "Sexy Pajamas Cafe" (Yukimura Anzu only in a sweater!) or 2-3's "The Shirakawa Nanaka Dinner show". Yes, our pink haired beauty is the school idol yet again.

Nanaka escapes!
In a chapter of the game, Sugnami hatches a plot to disrupt 2-3's show by dressing Yoshiyuki up as bear to spirit Nanaka away from the show. (She's an unwillingly participant anyway.) He succeeds and goes on a pseudo-date with the school idol as a bear named Donatello. The highlight of this episode was Nanaka squeezing into the bear costume to escape detection resulting in a rather tight situation and elevated pulse/blood pressure...

Some Nanaka thoughts
Nanaka is genkier and a bigger tease than Kotori ever was. She seems to accept her Idol fate with greater flair as shown from her smooth responses at the dinner show. Despite being playful, she maintains a moderate sense of responsibility. (She rushed back for the final minutes of the Dinner show she escaped from.) Hardcore Kotori fans may not like Nanaka since Kotori's key allure of gentle kindness/thoughtfulness are not exactly Nanaka's primary strengths. Of course the prelude probably nerfed her charms and it'll only be fair to judge come DCII in May.
In the meanwhile, let's just enjoy the many kawaii faces of Shirakawa Nanaka.

Nothing much has seem to have really changed in over 70 years has it? Girls seem to still use cell phones instead of advance neural link interfaces, have bear costumes instead of holograms, and the girls are still omega kawaii instead of, well…..lets just be thankful for that ^_^’

Heh despite the 70 yr leap into the future, I’m sure the makers would like to keep the scenario contemporary so that the players can identity with the familiar school setting. I’m thankful too… I like the kawaii girls in their vibrant seifukus the way they are now.

As compared to kotori well i guess nanaka is abit off… but cld be just me afterall i dun like pink hair
(die Lacus die!!) and dreaded 2-sided pony tailes(too many here to mention!!) i dunno but perhaps the genes came from the father side of the family…(makes u want to see just what kind of guy kotori married after being dumped by asakura) on the other hand, maybe the asakura twins will fair better with me although i am not a nemu fan =.=”"”
In the mean time its another few weeks till the game is released!!! yay!!!

For myself I seem to have something for pink hair.
or reddish-pink hair like Kotori’s. I adored Hisui/Kohaku in Tsukihime. Am in love with Onda Aka of REC too.
Yume’s (Asukura imouto) is really cute in DCII. I believe she’s the cover girl for DCII as Nemu was for DC. Pity my Japanese’s too sucky to play this game properly

All I say that is “I love her like I love Kotori, they are the best for both Da Capo series in my viewpoitnt” If I don’t care anybody gonna against this, I care only my own feeling that is it.
ClearlyI am the fanclub for both of them. That is all that I would like to say.^__^
