Kabitzin Bane

Well, actually more like Lisianthus Bane (re: SHUFFLE! Ep 5 and I wonder what Kikyou's feelings are on this matter). Nonetheless one suspects that the double combo sliminess of okra and nattou will probably not find favour with the Administar of the Sea Slugs! Team either.

Contrary to the stereotype of anime being detrimental to an avid fan's dietary habits, Mai Otome Ep 23 created an almighty ramen craving. And SHUFFLE! gave me the inspiration to combine two of my favouritest foods. :D ~~~ Topped with a bit of mustard and soy sauce. A raw egg yolk on top would also be nice but given the risk of salmonella in Britain, I'll refrain from that last topping.

  1. Natto stinks. Badddd. Baaaaaddd. It could probably drive away robbers.

  2. I make it a point not to visit the other blog at night which have induced very late suppers urges thanks to your food reviews… do I have to siam HnSO now? :P

See lah, hafta cook something for myself now… :)

  3. The worst food I ever ate was all related to circumstances surrounding it. One was fried chicken lunch after morning biology class of hands-on chicken autopsy. The other is Cabbage stew after shoveling tons of rotten cabbage into make-shift pits during my military service. Trust me. Nothing smells worse than rotting cabbage. That thing was so rotten, I almost burned my hand when I thrusted my hand inside the pile. Our troop literally had to bring in heavy machinery to dispose of them. Natto and Okra is puny compared to them. Try some raw cow heart, kidney and liver at specialty restaurants in South Julla providence in South eastern corner of Korea. Some deliberately rotted raw fish may also do well. did I mention that I comsumed lots of bugs in Purdue Bug Bowl here?

  4. OMG I feel like I am stuck to the screen and about to puke X__x.

  5. I’ve had dried Natto – didn’t like it, but didn’t HATE it, exactly. You do know they sell dried natto snacks, right? :D

  6. I prefer pickled Blue Fish intestines. It is quite good when combined with small piece of raw garlic.

  7. ????? : If any know the English name for this series, please tell me.

    Great shot of Manju there

  8. Saiunkoku Monogatari: That was the name. Great shots of food there.

Tell the taiyaki seller in Kanon. No, seriously. Might have saved him some trouble.
