MEGAMI Treats ~ Saber Ayanami

This is for you, brother.

I really would love a Fate/Stay night Alternative where instead of dark ambitions/gory battles, we have a harem-esque slice-of-life depicting Shirou's highest ambition to be knowing the color of Saber's pantsu and the bloodiest scene to be Shirou's bleeding nose from that knowledge (acquired via bumping into the Saber above ~ala Evangelion Alternative). Add a jealous Rin, our favourite kouhai Sakura, imouto Ilya and we have a very nice setup for the 2nd Apron Wars. Rider as the hot school nurse would be an added bonus too. :)

Well I can dream can't I?

    rider nurse.. saber, jealous rin, that reminds me of the concept of mai otome (ripping off mai hime).
    I’m not complaining since mai otome has some cool aspects.

    I think we should start a mailing campaign to the producers of Fate/Stay Night. Although I generally frown upon Harem Anime, this series has too much good potentials for an excellent harem series and/or simulation-games. It would do well to add in one or two quality male characters as well to complicate the relationship and attract female fans.

    Rider – librarian
    Lance – Phy Ed teacher
    Kirei – principle

    Shirou – Main Male character
    Illeya – Shirou’s Little Sister
    Sakura – Childhood friend
    Rin – School princess
    Sabre – Transfer student
    Shinji – Sakura’s older brother and school jerk
    Gil – The school playboy
    Herc – School Bullie with a heart of gold who has a soft spot for Illeya

    By the way, F/SN has been approved by my wife. She reasons that Girls wielding sword and magic trumps over harlemesque setting. We both have a soft spot for female wielding long sword. Now why didn’t Uma Thurman ( Kill Bill ) get the role as Eowyn in Return of the King? Anyway Sabre should be named captain of School’s fencing team specializing in Sabre, not epe or foil. Archer should be the president of Tea Club ala Tea Prince ( a popular manga series ).

    One note. I have no idea why they named the Legendary swordsman Sasaki Gojiro as Assasin. I know Japanese has very high regards for him, even to the point of acusing Miyamoto Musashi as using lowly tactics when Musashi killed Gojiro, but to consider him an assasin is something not even Koreans or Chinese would go down to.

    wontaek: Interesting that you should mentioned approval from the significant half since mine is on the verge of blanket banning all siscon-related anime after I showed her highlights of “Boku wa imouto ni koi wo suru”. Well, at least we’ve agreed NEVER to bunk our son/daughter in the same room. :P I think assassins have been romaniticised as ninjas have. After all ninjas were supposedly shadowy assassins doing clandestine/dirty work. But nowadays when someone says “It’s my way of ninja” it actually denotes principled determination/fortitude. Assassination may well have become a respectable profession :P (althought local universities here have not offered relevant courses in ninja-do and assassination)

    Xellos-_^: 0_o female Archer…. hmmm :P Hope she’s as hot as Athrine, the female rendition of Athrun Zala. :)

    Crimson: I think they use Assassin since it sounds cool. Samurai just doesn’t have the same ummpphhh I guess. :)

    assassination is like a specialization module in killing.
    ninja do, i think, is like a mixed package of recconaissance + up to some 201 in killing.

    i was thinking samurais should belong to sabers too since they use a sword and the sword isnt hurled at pple.

    One of the doujin manga suggests that Archer is the best cook of the whole group even better than Sakura, who has been relagated to kitchen duties so far. I wonder if there is any secret ingredient Sakura has been feeding Shirou.

    Actually, I would tell you the mystery behind Kojiro being an assassin, but that would be spoiling the plot for those who haven’t watched it yet.

    Nice picture. MEGAMI, eh… Need to find a copy of that… Even then, it’s the April issue…

    I say, let’s call our new anime Fate/ Gakuen no Hibi or Fate/ School Days
