I didn't realise it even though it was just at the back of my mind... now isn't that something.. Ayako Kawasumi and Noriko Shitaya have worked together as the main leads who were also lovers!! But really, the pathetic way Himeko kept repeating that line at the end of each ep preview was one of my major irritants about that series (other than the big robots and plot holes) so the quiet, thoughtful and loving words at the end of the penultimate ep (11) was really nice. firebrand – I certainly hope that will turn out to be a real spoiler. :)
