The Joint defence forces for Kaeda (KKK), Shia (SSS) and Nerine (RRR) are formed and go after Rin who takes over inside a utility closet and later, under Asa-chan's skirt. It is revealed that Shia and Nerine knew Rin from when they were young and his kindness left them with a lasting impression while Rin himself only vaguely remembers it. While Rin is initially quite bothered by all the unwelcome attention coming his way, he gradually comes to be more positive towards his love interests after overhearing them talk about the past as well as reflecting on Asa-chan's sage advice.

Another killer line from Asa-chan. ??????! Argh, meeeeltiiiing. I is melting... She seems to be a good counsellor (in both senses of the word) to Rin by giving him good advice on how he should think of and treat the girls.

This is the ominous backstory part. We are introduced to Asa-chan's mom who is a little strange i.e. she seems oddly child-like and very direct with her wild speculation and comments. Asa-chan seems to be the more mature one and the way they are drawn, they might even reasonably be mistaken to be sisters. In any case, that Ama-san has a serious moment when she seems to recognise Primula. Whom Ma-ou Foebeshii, Nerine, Shin-ou Yustoma and Shia all seem to fear and are unable to compel despite their power and status. Ama-san is also paired with Primula in the OP so I wonder what is their connection and what implications this has for Asa-chan. And where is Asa-chan's father?

We know that both of Rin's parents as well as Kaede's mom were killed in a traffic accident - though that smells a bit fishy to me. I just have a feeling that their deaths have something to do with both the Shinkai and Makai. Similarly, where are Shia's and Nerine's moms? Will there be momentuous consequences like the destruction of one of the worlds or death of one of the princesses if Rin chooses one over the other? Wild speculation here since I still can't make the game display Japanese instead of gibberish in the dialogue boxes.
