I succeeded. This sakura goodness lasted beyond 1 week, thanks to distractions from Sailor moon live action and other animes. 5 more eps to go.... sigh..... Sakura continues to be her kawaii self. What I really like about her is that she's so sensitive to others' needs but so clueless about the power of her own endearing personality to others. I must say I felt very constipated by Shaoran's continual failure to express his feelings for Sakura throughout these eps. Spit it out boy! Spit it out! Both Eriol and Tomoyo are already facilitating, don't let them down! And finally the much awaited meeting between Yue and Touya occurred in ep 65. I was really apprehensive cos I know the CLAMP ladies would not let it pass easily. Indeed, my yaoi alarms went off again. No, no chin-holding but a lot of caressing each other faces. I was so afraid they would have to kiss to transfer Touya's power to Yue! The body language was all there! The anticipation in the air, the slight leaning forward, the hands on the shoulders... arrggghhhh!!!! I think they were just teasing us..... they stopped short of the real thing but the damage was done. I bet the image of Touya kissing Yue BURNT in everyone's mind.... Nope, not me, I pulled my sanity plug when I saw all the signs. No damage here. And yappari, Touya had really quite a bit of power in him. To be able to restore Yue's powers is a testament to his strength. Hmm that also would mean he might not be able to discern the Mirror card from the real Sakura anymore... Pity, I really like the Touya/Mirror pairing, although it gave the feeling of sis-con... again....
