Watched most of the top 10 plus many mentioned in the reply posts. My GF and I watch them together and some of our favs are Shuffle!, Fate/Stay Night and especially School Days. Only watched School Days yesterday (did it in one sitting) and had to give it 9.5/10. I’m still feeling bad thinking about it.

(just had to post seeing as I bothered reading all the replies)

Thanks for the other anime ideas, I’ll be looking into them shortly…

You’re thinking too much , I have a brother too , that’s why I understand how Hiro and Karada are , they have a strong relationship together and I’m glad they are , but it’s not like that , I think having them like a pairing will just destroy the beautiful family relationship they’ve made .

Not just US cartoons (which sometimes have a fair amount of subversive acidic humor)… US *prime time* television has been dumbed down to the point where I can barely watch an episode of *anything* without at least a handful of “wtf?” or “who wrote that line?” or “did someone think that was a mystery?” … etc etc etc.
Even if it isn’t just crap writing …. its so toxic and negative that I have to go outside.

I suppose in our booming idiocracy, its becoming too much to ask that writers actually.. you know … have a clue about their subject matter. Or maybe write something not hyperbolically anxiety-inducing.

Its quite easy flip the tv off and pull up the latest anime file … or just read.
