Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS hasn’t been lauded for its pacing, chara bloat or even animation quality. But yuri fans like myself have been rejoicing (I still have an appointment with Admiral Erica to ‘do the LFB/G jump up and down and squeal together’ LOL) because it created the base material and context for Nanoha x Fate HWAT LESBIAN S3XXOR fan work that won’t have the Feds kicking down your door; I like my yuri pr0n non-loli PLZ KTKSBAI. While trawling the interwebs, I recently came across some scans of the Lightning Stars H doujinshi by artist MikAzuki akira (trimoon) and it was a glorious 19 pages of glorious all-woman Fate-centric art.

I had been just a bit tempted by the reports that KimiAru had some light yuri fan service but only finally picked it up after reading two sentences over at SS!AB - Kabitzin, I blame you! OMG what a stupid series. But the LOLZ, KimiAru haz it.
Other than the influence of the Namako empire, I had also heard that there was some oneesama fan service in KimiAru. And an impressive VA lineup that included personal favourites such as Shizuka Itou, Yuko Goto, Rie Tanaka, Yuu Asakawa, hitomi, Tomokazu Seki.
I ended up marathoning it over two days. It was Not Good but it was still great brainless entertainment. A run down of favourite moments follows.

Some translation notes on the last two SS01 parodies (I skipped 5-7 because the Loli x Shota jokes were actually pretty tiresome, translation notes on 2-4 here) and, prompted by Tamago no Oheya’s 310th comic, an exploration of the idea of two sharply contrasting models of childhoods (REALLY SCREWED UP versus PLEASANT BUT RONERY) that most of the Nanoha cast can be divided into with implications for the dynamics of their interactions.
I linked to the second and eighth StrikerS Nano! parody of the first sound stage some time back and learnt a new word (æ‰ã‚€ momu - to rub; ‘momi’ in the active tense) in the process.

A few rough translation notes on ashita wa docchida?’s StrikerS Nano! parodies of the first Sound Stage. AFAIK while scanlation of the main body (001-182) covering the TV series has been completed, I’ve only seen a translated version (thread) of the first comic (original) of the first Sound Stage thus far.
Hope I’m not reinventing the wheel (and doing so rather badly in the process); corrections will be greatly appreciated.
