2006 (glaring typo!) would be the Year of the Tanuki with the airing of AIR TV and movie (pun unintended, it’s the Kabitzin Geass, I swear!), Nanoha A’s, Zero no Tsukaima, Canvas2 and SHUFFLE! Though ToHeart2 and D.C.S.S. were, particularly the latter, sources of disappointment and unsatisfaction respectively.

2002 was memorable for the lovely Ai Yori Aoshi and I tended to think of it as the Anti-Love Hina.
Bought a copy of this evil magazine after a long break mainly because I wanted to find out more about the new Nanoha movie. But, alas, it seems to be an alternative history rather than animating the A’s to StrikerS era. Expect disappointment, no doubt.
I’ll leave the review of this 100th issue and its posters to Shingo (though his latest Megami magazine review, at the time of this post, is for Megami 98, I’m sure the backlog will be vanquished in no time!). I’ve moaned before about how London’s Forbidden Planet and Japan Centre doesn’t seem to stock MEGAMI. But I happened to see that evil magazine in the display window of Orbital Comic’s Moor Street branch. And the price was just shinjirarenai.

I saw the above poster via Kurogane and one of my sensei-level commenters, Shinzantetsu, also kindly put a link to a much higher resolution scan. *wipes nosebleed* I struggled mightily with temptation and, with the added whammy of the Kagamin x Konata wedding picture, dealt with it in the best way, that is, to give in completely; have asked Stripey to procure a copy of Megami 93 for me (to save on the arm and a leg shipping costs from Japan to the UK).
And to think I had actually been entertaining the notion that Comp H had knocked Megami off its pedestal WRT my spending priorities but it looks like the goddesses in its pages have still got it: Evils I tell you.
