Fool Metal Zaku Fufufu in Nakano

On Day Two of the Tokyo expedition, this Zaku took it easy. Slept in to nurse my worn out leg servos and gyros, blogged yesterday’s happenings before having lunch with an old university friend and only after that did I launch off towards Nakano Broadway via the Tozai line. Less photographs than yesterday because of the high staff to area ratio, making it much harder to get away with snapping close-up pictures of stuff and thus having a high risk of breaking the 11th Commandment.

Zaku raid on Akiba

…was what I would have liked to say about yesterday’s expedition to the Holy Land. Instead it was more appropriate to describe it as Akiba raids Zaku wallet. I would orz but I also saw this marvellous sign in a basement shop with a big red circle around and line across OTL - orz is forbidden! Photography was also forbidden in most places; I had to sneak most of my shots from just outside the shops or in the corridors and stairways.

Food for Feena Fandom

Zyl: Oh yeah, I read Suguru’s insane rant full of hatred. LOL
Stripey: Yeah, the game CGs are really good. Such fantastic character design. When I think about what Doumu has done to the characters, I just… *sniff* *sniff* Feeeeeenaaaa…. *sobbing*…. Cabbage…. *sobbing* Maaaaai…. *sobbing*

Kabitzin Bane

Well, actually more like Lisianthus Bane (re: SHUFFLE! Ep 5 and I wonder what Kikyou’s feelings are on this matter). Nonetheless one suspects that the double combo sliminess of okra and nattou will probably not find favour with the Administar of the Sea Slugs! Team either. Continue reading ‘Kabitzin Bane’

Food of the Otaku Generation

I met a traveler from an antique land
Who said: Many sharp and toothy bits of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose smile,
And generous bosom, and hair antenna of shoujo command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read,
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed,
And on the pedestal these words appear:
“My name is Mai Tokiha, Otome of the Fire Stirring Ruby:
Look upon my ramen, ye Mighty, and be hungry!”

Like Karmaburn, I had a serious case of ramen craving due to Mai Otome 23.
