Oddly enough, I still decided to give this series a go because two of my favourite doujin artists/circles, chanomi and tamago no oheya, seem to have picked up on a heart of yuri-tinged comedy gold underneath all the awful fanservicey elements.

I’ve only seen the first four episodes. So far I’m really liking Mio’s HOHOHO and Minna’s Latent Tanaka Rie Evilness as well as the chara interaction but I’m not sure if it’ll be worth my while to continue. Perhaps I need to go wash to bring out my inner evil.

I was there. My only purchases – a set of Collateral Damage Studios works: three beautiful Nanoha prints (art by Xeph and Mycstea) and a hilarous Burning Arisa doujin (art by WaHa) for SGD 45.

Too tired to do a proper write-up. Just brief notes.

Venue wasn’t all that big. Lots of empty space fenced off too. But good deal of human traffic through the afternoon.

Cosplay

Despite having had my Lumix camera for years, I only learnt that I should adjust the white balance for taking photos under indoor fluoroscent lighting this afternoon. orz

Extremely genki Lime Mint cosplayer. Top marks for her positive attitude and sunny disposition.

Quite a lot of the most interesting cosplay activity seemed to be taking place outside the event hall/rooms.

At 1/6, Ryoko was way too big for my collection and I’m not partial to reclining poses either. Pretty damned gorgeous nonetheless.

357: It’ll Soon Be Tanabata Nano Vivio’s Tanabata wish in the second panel: ‘I want to meet everyone from Riot Force 6.’ She’s also got a second wish, which she has kept secret from Nanoha-mama, on the extreme left of the final panel: ‘For Nanoha-mama’s body to recover.’ Awww. I do ‘Awww’ a lot when reading this circle’s comics. But I also LOLOL a lot too, particularly at the other wishes: ‘To become Nanoha’s bride’ (probably from Subaru) and ‘To stop that! arrow’ (no prizes for guessing who Ahaha~♥) And also ‘For my Figma to be released’ (笑)

358: URAy… nano Title and punchline hard to translate especially the latter. Agito obviously hasn’t been watching Shana-tan, head-riding is the way to go. In the third panel, given her not inconsiderable crush on Signum, we’re led to believe that she’s going to say that she wants to ride on Signum’s head too, thus: ‘Ata’ leading to ‘shi mou…’ or something to that effect. Instead, she goes on the offensive, ‘Attack chance!’ Apparently there’s a whole supplement centred on Rein Zwei versus Agito as The Little Pair of Yagami-san’s Harem Household.

359: Today is Tanabata nano Nanoha-mama arranges for Vivio’s first wish to come true, kinda like how parents maintained belief in Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy. Even the universe obeys the laws of White Devil Nanoha-mama! LOL

360: Doll nano It’s not a doll. Figma is not a doll. Erio orz LOL But I have to say that I agree with my bro Stripey; I do prefer PVC figurines over Figma. I’m still a little surprised at how popular Figma has become though given that releases usually involve popular characters like Konata and Fate as well as Nanoha herself, it could be the success of a cunning trick to lure chara-worshippers to test out and get hooked on to a new product line. But I suppose there’s also the attraction of the added scope to play with Figma in unauthorized ways.
