The fact he has a harem means that he’s a stud thus you have good taste. Plus it means he is ‘healthy’. But it also means that you can have loli-yuri fun with your friends when he’s not around. Or at least that’s how some of the doujin circles might interpret things… BTW nice new outfit, Kaguya. But of course, you still can’t beat Cecile-nee’s BUNS.

After being really bitter and angry at C.C. at the end of the last season (and quite reasonably so), Lelouch’s banter with C.C. has really had its moments of mutual understanding and megolomaniac playfulness – like in the second episode of R2 when he said: ‘I don’t want to hear that from an immortal witch.’ And C.C. goes: ‘Heh.’ Like so in the scene above.

The most important rule of being a harem lead is to treat your haremettes with decency and respect always. I’m not sure how ‘harem’ and ‘decency’ and ‘respect’ go together but, leaving that aside, C.C. obviously wishes Lelouch to follow that rule and not abandon Kallen. Because she knows that Lelouch will be badly hurt if he has to cruelly abandon a haremette thus her smile of relief when he gives the order for a decisive battle rather than runawayrunaway. And also because, in my book, Code Geass is ultimately a harem comedy and so it fits my genre expectations rather than breaking them. C.C.: ‘Good job, Lelouch!

Again it’s the embarrassed look that completes the outfit. And the thought that Viletta-sensei may just be tsundere about it just adds to the omph.

Is Shirley the only one who receives Millay’s bust checking attentions? This is a very important question because it will prove or disprove a number of scientifically formulated hypotheses such as: (1) Millay is a Hayate Yagami type. (She just has a thing for boobs in general, not the one specific girl that the boobs happen to be part of.)

Why does Anya have a photo of Loli Lelouch? Is she a past and future haremette too??

I still suspect that the real reason that Stripey hasn’t finished watching StrikerS isn’t just because of the very different pacing in contrast to A’s but mainly because Fate isn’t loli anymore. Thus, pacing was the necessary condition and overt excuse while the DFC (or lack thereof) was the sufficient condition and covert genuine reason. After all, the first season didn’t exactly have a crackin’ pace but the tanuki still faithfully finished it deshou?

Erio: I’ve heard that this kind of thing Commander Hayate has this kind of orientation…

I just love the image of Hayate with her evil flashing eyes, grasping hands and the lovely touch of the drool. LOLOLOLOL And I’m hearing Kana Ueda’s voice as I read that line.

It’s a pity that Ayako isn’t subbing this but, with the help of posts by Totali and Aroduc, nantoka I’ve managed to get the gist of the dialogue. Episode summaries banzai!

I was going to say, ‘Mochi goes whee!’ But since it looks less than ecstatic about being eaten, it could plausibly go: ‘Nooooo!!!!’ On the other hand, it looks phallic-tentacly enough to go: ‘I~YAAAAAA~~~ Tasukette~~~!’ Haruka, that is; not the mochi tentacle monster.

Even intervention by the Fujioka Bear Missile can’t save him her. Damn, this show can be so confusing sometimes.

After Haruka chided Kana for exposing her belly, saying that Fujioka Not Bear might see her like that, I was half expecting her to say: ‘Who cares? He’s seen everything already!’ Alas.

Why does Haruka-neesama read such a crappy-sounding love novel? The Sin of Love?? Is it just Sensei to Ninomiya-kun withdrawal syndrome? Kurogane is right as usual; the follow-on screen cap is such soooo cute. Why can trashy novels / tv shows be so compelling?

Of course, the perfect comeback would have for Chiaki to bring Haruka-neesama in and ‘DON!’ everyone (less Haruka) would simply be annihilated by her Massive Wonders. Having just rewatched Onegai Twins, I just kept thinking how Miina and Karen would cup/cover their own chests after Tsubaki or Mizuho-sensei flaunted their assets (intentionally as a rhetorical argument winning device for the former and unintentionally for the latter).

Or, of course, Chiaki could cite the Mayumi Thyme defence as cited by Konata: ‘Flat chests are a sign of status! Their rarity makes them valuable!’ Come to think of it, it’s a good thing that Makoto didn’t turn up as Mako-chan otherwise she’ll he’ll be lumped together with Chiaki in the Flat Chest Alliance (also a treaty system proposed by Mayumi to Primula but never formed).
