
First anime DVD purchase (from The Right Stuf International, who else? :P) for this year. In contrast to my 2007 purchases, this batch consists of shows that first aired back in the ancient times: 1995 (Slayers, Evangelion), 1996 (Nadesico, Slayers Next) and 1997 (Slayers Try).

Shop display windows have been known to exert magnetic effects on passers-by. Especially if said passer-by is Duo Duo (played by Vivian Hsu aka VIVIAN of Gundam SEED OP2, Moment) and said windows are displaying shoes. Or said passers-by are Haruhiists and said windows are displaying evil magazine posters of Jungle Cat Haruhi, Black Cat Yuki, Thunder Cat Tsuraya and Scaredy Cat Mikuru. It was neither of the above but I did do a double-take upon passing the shop window pictured above.
