FINALLY the Momiji arc has been bestowed upon us!
Having said that Noboru smells tasty, Noboru should also be able to smell how tasty Momiji is at this proximity.
The moment of understanding. A new, worthy harem lead and haremette are in the making! This episode also greatly raised my estimation of Sakura as a chara and of her chances but the mutuality still seems weaker than in the Noboru x Momiji case, that is, it’s still one-sided WRT Noboru x Sakura.
A little disappointed that Momiji seemed quite low profile in the otherwise lovely ED. Three cheers for Mubyou, Sheep and Wolf! And don’t think I spotted Momiji either in the final festival crowd shot… :(

Ahaha~♥ Not so hot about the new hair style but just gotta love Momiji’s ‘ja ne!’ Shizuka Itou was definitely the *perfect* casting choice for her character. Gutsy and feminine but also with a touch of vulnerability. *goes back to rewatch the concert scene from Ep 13*

I wonder if the final arc will go into harem mode now that all the cast members from the OP have been ‘properly’ intro-ed with back story etc. So far the pattern has been (for OP cast members), ‘an enemy appears, they become friends’. Except for the glasses guy who was ‘helping’ the Oni. The final boss who cannot be befriended?
They *do* need someone to beat the snot out of with the Power Of Friendship(tm), no ? :P
(You know, I find it vaguely diquieting how friendship so often essentially gets transmuted into a direct combat buff in anime…)
