I acquired Jo was simply because I love her character design and the yuri factor. Alter Revy conveyed the all round general badassness that Megumi Toyoguchi did so well with her voice in the anime.
The latest addition, Nadie, a Shizuka Itou lead role and yuri one to boot, was a delightful birthday gift from my good brothers Stripey and morit.
Their unifying theme, however, is handguns. (And by coincidence, Alter). Nadie isn’t in double gun mode like Jo or Revy even though her pose was just so John Woo but that’s appropriate too as ‘two hands’ isn’t canonical for our intrepid bounty hunter anyway.
Though I can imagine another set consisting of Meg, Seras Victoria, Gretel, I’m not too big on machine guns… partly, I think, because I had to use one during my NS days back in the ancient times. Since I’m not Rambo, Arnie or one of the above-mentioned machine gun babes, I certainly could not wield it one handed and there was also the issue of the pesky and orz-inducingly heavy base plates

I’m love that Revy!! Jo ain’t bad either. I only got to the 4th episode of El Cazador de la Bruja though and I can’t say it was that good an anime so I dunno about Nadie :p
You can’t one-hand machine guns??? Next you’re going to tell me that you don’t shoot your pistols with the guns parallel to the ground and your arms crossed!

petrichorlic, I was initially quite sceptical about Nadie’s pose esp the two metal stands but it works simply and well and it’s a real beaut.
Stripey, yeah though it will also probably be interchangeable to transform into Hansel too. A trap figurine! LOL
Epi, my favourite detail about Revy is actually the ciggie dangling out of her mouth. Jo is gorgeous though would have been even better with Meg in her arms. ;) El Cazador was quite a different kettle of fish compared to Noir or Madlax even though it followed the BEETRAIN template on this but still great light entertainment IMHO.
Kabitzin, I’m not much of a pistol user anyway. I am instead training to make people OTL with awful puns and then kick them in the nuts while they’re orz. :P
