Verily Shanatan is the best part of this whole franchise.

Because we get, as Aroduc describes it so aptly, ‘cranky Yoshida’ - Kawasumi Ayako does sweet lovely so well but I’d love to see her do more lead roles like this version of Yoshida! And she did do brilliantly as Chikane in Kannazuki.

Add yandere psycho moé roles to that Kawasumi Ayako wish list too.

My only gripe is the lack of Pheles x Wirhelmina love love in this Shanatan installment. But maybe we’ll get something along those lines in another Banjo no Carmel-san? Oh please, we must getto!

OTL at Margery’s punny innuendo about Sabrac hiding ‘huge weapon’. And LOL for Shizuka Itou using a version of her voice that’s more like Hinagiku than Wirhelmina. Not a de arimasu in sight!

OMG Bel Peol as the Mama-san! I’d be a regular at this snack bar!! And nearly bust a gut LOLing hearing Sabrac addressed as ‘Sabu-chan’.

No Banjo no Carmel dansen? :P
Yes… needs more psycho-moe Yoshida. The sad thing is that the Shana-tan stuff is more consistently funny than the ‘comedy’ parts of Shana II. :P
I still cannot forgive Hecate for sucking in both seasons. However, I can’t wait for this to get some translations. Sabrac is getting a lot of points in my book.
Haesslich, actually I’ve always thought of SnS as more of a harem comedy than an action show. Probably helped me to ride out the relatively slow pacing of the first halves of both seasons.
Kabitzin, hey but Hecate did power up this season with her Aster and go battle/love melee against Shana too. Much better than last season when she just either meditated or moaned a lot. :)
Zyl: It has elements of it… but the story was supposed to be more about the action side, as well as the romance bits. And then you get the cooking bento episodes… bleah.
I’d say something about Hecate… but I won’t, since it’ll sound bad. ;)
We’re at it, Kabitzin, we’re at it.
Ahh, looks hilarious. I can’t wait for a translation on that Sabrac segment. Also I second the motion for more more Wilhelmina x Pheles.
The actual series was just as funny!
Totali: It depends on just what you consider funny. I found Shana 2nd fun, but for altogether different, non-love powah reasons. :)
I totally called that Twister gag in episode 21! Wilhelmina’s new giggle-voice really threw me off, but Sab-chan was sweet.
Although I still hate Konoe, the scene where Hecate declared the mission a failure was awesome. What would SNS be without these amazing Shana-tan omakes?
Maybe the Shanatan script writers read SST! too.
Let’s hope they did the mouseover for your SNS 16 post!!!1ONE
