I still suspect that the real reason that Stripey hasn’t finished watching StrikerS isn’t just because of the very different pacing in contrast to A’s but mainly because Fate isn’t loli anymore. Thus, pacing was the necessary condition and overt excuse while the DFC (or lack thereof) was the sufficient condition and covert genuine reason. After all, the first season didn’t exactly have a crackin’ pace but the tanuki still faithfully finished it deshou? ;)
Erio: I’ve heard that this kind of thing Commander Hayate has this kind of orientation…

heh the truth was that when StrikerS was airing, that was the height of the Singapore anime scene’s Spanish inquisition. If I figured StrikerS was not worthy enough to risk my hide. Ran the gauntlet for Code Geass though. :)
But if Fate was still loli, I’d bet you would have still run the gauntlet for StrikerS too. Mweheheh. ;)

Slightly off topic but since I know you’ve extolled the virtues of Signum-neesan in the past I figured these comics would interest you since you’re kind of on a translating kick at the moment. Basically how Hayate convinced Shari and the other girls to join her new unit.
I can’t help but like the panel with Signum’s ‘Nousatsu (Bewitching) Signum Kiss’ waza. I think it’s the massive amount of sparkles and the confident ladykiller smile that does it for me.
