I previously typecast Rie Kugimiya to snarky loli tsundere roles but she surprised me and excelled as Miharu. Who is such a cheeky little devil when implying sensei seku hara , verily a reverse Masa-san~~♥! A fine tradition too as Ukyou had originally disguished herself as a boy. Miharu’s contrasting nonchalance was also win.
Reminds of Hellsing’s SD mode… and was the nin-nin a Shinobuden reference!? But overall the art, character design, animation, fight scenes were all lovely.

Wow. When both Aroduc of Mars and Totali of Venus both gush about a series, the combined power pushes a previously unconsidered anime to the front of the queue. And I did enjoy this first episode very muchly.
