Compulsory viewing for Kokoro-chan fans. See 53RG10’s post for a summary and more representative screencaps. As usual, I’m all about Otome ‘Ponytail so hawt’ Katou and Sekai’s ‘Oneechan ga tabetai’ mom.

Unfortunately, Otome’s role here is limited mostly to being Zombie Victim. Though a small consolation is that she’s given the most screentime of the four in the victim group.

Sekai’s mom gets a role too, as the Manager/Commander of the fairly useless Radish girls sentai group. LOL
The Kokoro fanservice reminded me of how the ‘With transformation scenes like this, Nanoha is never going to get licensed’ thought that occurred to me when I belatedly watched it in anticipation of StrikerS. Ugh.
But I did like all jokes about the ‘Magical Chainsaw!’ arming and ‘The Bloody Conclusion!’ attack as well as the ‘Nice Boat’ inflatable raft in the river of blood (red, not black this time). Simply quite amazing that an OVA can be so funny and enjoyable but feel like faithful to the original series.
Kokoro is my favourite character in SD. I hope this didn’t go the way of Mashiro in Mai Otome. XD
What the heck is this?! This looks hilarious and I wish more series did stuff like this (reminds me of Shana-tan).
I feel kinda sad about this, it wasn’t Nanoha adaptation material like I’d hoped. Maybe it’s how it doesn’t take itself that seriously… I mean, Makoto’s opening speech is an ironic reference to the original show.
Bro, followed closely by Setsuna, right? Don’t worry, this OVA doesn’t have any of the unpleasantness of the TV series, just OTT fun.
Kabitzin, yeah, I love it when a series doesn’t take itself too seriously. Main reason why I’ve forgiven Shana first season and Mai HiME among others.
Owen S, if anything, it’s actually gotten sillier and more OTT compared to the Valentine’s Day OVA. Good job, I say!
I’m convinced. “School Days” would have made a *great* gag anime. Throw in Nabeshin, and we’ll have guaranteed comedy gold.
Wohahahaha this was so awesome 8D
Was I the only one who was actually hoping that this would be decent adaptation material so that it could have three seasons worth of spin-offs? :x
Well, the bad guy doesn’t die, so there’s still hope for a sequel.
