Actually I thought that Yoshino always suspected or just unconsciously knew, especially since the yukata episode when she deduced that the yukata belonged to Uchida because she was the one protesting when Mako-chan wanted to wear it ‘authentically’ i.e. without underwear.

The dynamic between Hosaka and Hayami is quite a weird but interesting one. He takes her seriously because she’s Haruka’s senpai and she’s largely unfazed by his disgusting behaviour (except for the time when she inadvertently ate the bento he cooked for Haruka). It would have been really fun if both of them were in competition for Haruka but I guess Kana is more Hayami’s type. ;)
I had a new respect for Yoshino after this episode…..or maybe my respect for Makoto just went down.
Yoshino’s merely evil - just look at how she handled the others when the Hamster first showed up in the classroom… including a visiting Touma. Hayami-senpai, on the other hand, is absolutely insane AND diabolical.
And I loved that look Yoshino gave Mako-chan after the accidental chest-grab; she’s not concerned or fazed by the idea of being woman-handled… while Kana sure has a heck of a phobia as will become clear next episode. ;)
Ah, the trap was sprung… Or rather, the total breakage of Makoto was never more apparent in this episode… Or reinforced in the next one. ^^;

Zyl: He’s misquoting all sorts of Ecclesiarchy writings… which is another way of saying ‘blaspheming heretic!’. And I vote Myssa Rei for being the most broken, as she only just realized it when she fell in with the Haruhi GS project… whereas I am very carefully broken, and have yet to completely fall into the trap of needing an intervention by Belldandy, Sumeragi, and Mikuru.
Besides, if I was Hayami-senpai, that’d mean I was attacking Kana instead of Haruka…
