For some reason, I got a real kick out of Shivering Uchida too. She’s quite lovably stupid. LOL at her catching the snake too.
Poor Chiaki! Talk about bad timing, the most genuine case of ‘This isn’t what it looks like!’ since Akira caught naked Harima with bikini Eri in his clutches. Unfortunately as powerful as Serious Business Haruka-neesama is, she hasn’t got the Observational Powers of 007 Akira Takano.
‘How about learning to say No frankly when you really mean No?’ I’m in complete agreement with Totali about how wise Chiaki is but also childish at the same time. Likewise, I don’t think that badly of Fuyuki either, contra Aroduc. How many times have I taken the path of least resistance? Though I also had more passive aggression to show for it. Kekeke.
Really looking forward to Fujioka Bear Samurai in the next episode!!
lol Uchida’s snake catching was so random….and so hilarious. Some of the characters in this show really are underrated.
I think the best part is how Mako-chan is walking down the path to permanent confusion, step by step, without even realizing he’s on the road until Uchida and Touma point it out to him. :D
Heck, he’s got Jason Miao repeating the old “I don’t care anymore. Just shoot me. No way there’s a penis on this. None. I won’t accept it” mantra again, even with the abundance of traps that have shown up in the past two seasons (Aoi, that one from H20, the one from Moyashimon). Now THAT’S talent.
Useless observations: O-Haruka-sama can really read the Riot Act to her, uh, riotous little sisters sometimes…

Kana can have disturbingly profound effects on the developement of impressionable children. Such as Mako-cakes.
Tht snake Uchida found under a rock oughta have been hibernating (which is probably why it didn’t bite her nose), given the time of the year.
Poor Fuyuki is going to get taken home in a bad way if he keeps associating with the younger Minamis without growing more spine… >.<
If he keeps that up, Chiaki or Kana may end up making him dress up as a girl, the way things keep going… especially if Chiaki feels that he threatens to take Haruka’s attention away from her. Remember why Makoto had to become Mako-cakes in the first place; Chiaki was afraid he’d steal Haruka-neesama’s affections, so…. Mako-chan was born. Then took a life of her own. And now seems intent on making sure that Touma and Mako-chan can forever trade outfits.
Granted, the two seemed to develop a sort of instinctive dislike of him from the beginning, and in the case of Chiaki at least probably from just such reasons.
And likely in the case of both, because he’s so servile Haruka starts getting funny ideas about Soviet Volunteering her imoutos to participate in all kinds of chores.
Kana’s likely to pimp Fuyuki out to help with whatever chores she, Fukioka, Uchida, Touma, or anyone else including Hosaka has, the way things are going. Maybe he’d be better off going away and never coming back - there’s only tragedy for him associating with the Minami sisters. Look at Fujioka (whipped), Mako-chan (now an instinctive crossdresser headed down the highway to Transgenderdom at full speed), and Hosaka (delusional, but more so). Or their ojisan, who’s so whipped that he’ll go along with anything any one of them says, or else will stand for hours on end in the freezing cold… without even thinking of leaving, because he was told to come back ‘tomorrow’.
Heck with it - if the black faces are any indication (derived from h-games), Kana OR Chiaki may just pimp him out in the original sense of the word…
