Is a French meido in Paris as French as French fries?
The return of Yuuji’s dad was a lot less traumatic and doramatic than I had expected. No recriminations, no mysterious back story, no angst. This is animu? The Sakai family was such an unbelievably happy one but I suppose this gave Chigusa and Kantarou the credibility to be able to dispense love advice to Shana and Yoshida. Though, when I think in Jason Miao-mode, I just imagine Kantarou thinking: ‘My son is such a stud, like me, for having his own harem!’ while Chigusa goes: ‘Fufufu… son’s harem is also my harem when the hubbie is away.’ orz
And while we’ve gotten mysterious silver armlet-chain foreboding for Fumina and her butler, one of the main purposes of Fumina seems to have been to make Shana and Yoshida empathize and understand each other better.
And why is Wirhelmina so emotional over the fact that Pheles is alive and looking for the Reiji Maigo? Is it because she feels sympathy for Pheles? Or because Pheles poses a serious threat to Yuuji and Shana? Or because she feels guilty for something she’s done in the past e.g. killing Johan? Just what is Pheles anyway? I don’t think she’s a Flame Haze and am leaning towards tomogara. I’m really looking forward to seeing / hearing her story in the next episode!
Doesn’t it seem like Wilhelmina has some really bad luck with relationships?
1) Original Enpatsu Shakugan: dead and source of envy
2) Merihim: in love with previous enpatsu shakugan, and turned into skeleton to avoid a pity booty call with meido Wilhelmina
3) Pheles: probably left for dead at some point in a flashback
Is it any wonder Wilhelmina dotes on Shana so much? She needs to get a cat or something.
