More background and no fighting but I had a big stupid grin plastered on my face by the end of this episode.
Tiia accompanies Hayate for her meeting with Chrono and Acous on board the Claudia. She’s introduced as the leader of the forwards. Nonetheless I can still understand Tiia’s stiffness and nervousness, after all, if she’s meeting an Admiral. Obviously, in Lost Property Riot Force 6, the leaders are chosen according to their Yuri Power with Hayate ranked SS for her enormous and very varied harem while Nanoha x Fate ranked S for being Nanoha x Fate. Regius Gaiz hates yuri though. :(
History lesson from Fate about the banning of conventional weapons, the setting up of the TSA system, the respective Navy and Army HQs and the founding role of the Three Admirals. Surprised that the TSA system is only about 75 years old!

Subaru asks if the Lightning forwards think of Fate as a big sister or MILFate. Caro thinks the former while Erio is obviously gay. Subaru and Ginga reflect on the death of their own mother in the line of duty.

Never mind the impending threat to inter-dimensional peace and the stability of the fabric of time-space. The most important thing about this episode was: Nanoha-mama x Fate-mama 4TW. That is all.
I believe that the 2nd soundstage features more of the Fate/Nanoha/Vivio family unit so I’m looking forward to it. I doubt it, but I’m hoping for another visit to Earth. I’d just like to see the reactions on the faces of Nanoha’s family when she shows up with a little girl who calls her and Fate ‘Mama.’
Fate sure goes through raising a lot of kids, even though she’s only 19! Must be very dedicated to the Ways Of Yuri. Vivio caught on after only a couple days, grabbing Nanoha like that, lewl.
Fate and Nanoha are *so* going to be mistaken for yanmamas at some point… ^.^
Also, I’ve this hunch Loli Rider is going to get added into the family roster by the end of the season as well. Fate seems to have a serious soft spot for Mage Kids With Troubled Pasts. Particularly if they’re in some way artificially made with implanted memories like Vivio, and probably that gothloli summoner too judging by some of the conversations she’s had with her associates.
Probably has something to do with Fate having been there, seen the elephant, and bearing the scars to prove it (bet you around the first thing Lindy did after the whole Book of Darkness mess was run her new daughter through some pretty hardcore therapy sessions…).

Haha, I converted this episode to .3GPP to have it on my cellphone! It also had me grinning all the while, especially at the beginning, with NanohaxVivioxFate stuff, how Nanoha placed Vivio in Fate’s arms, just like mom would do! Or dad, damn, it’s so hard to tell the roles with those two! Aaanyway, let’s hope more about them in future eps, ne?
