The complication in the plot has considerably reduced my ability to understand the raw episodes. Have been reduced to making smart arse remarks about various scenes and plot points while waiting for the subs.

The battle rages back and forth as the two sides introduce more and higher ranked reinforcements, the newbies are really made to feel pretty useless but Tiia’s quick thinking more or less saves the day at the end. Hayate finally gets her limiter released to S level by Chrono. There’s a brief scare when Storm Raider gets targetted by the S-ranked enemy sniper.
Frankly I’m still scratching my head about the opposing Numbers gang… they have really interesting abilities and have individual personalities but the cast inflation is starting to get to me.

You dares to call my Hayate-chan t3h criminalz!? That’s unforgivable, beardy!

Whatev. I’m still the highest ranked!

Average monthly pay of forward. 500 credits. Big hat for obligatory loli. 100 credits. Quick thinking by Teana who substitutes dangerous object from case to a safer place in the guise of flower which causes Vita’s eyes to twitch. Priceless. There are some things money can’t buy, for everything else there’s Goshujinsama Card.

Maybe Signum and Fate should do a StrikerS Channel segment…

Be careful, Nanoha! Signum’s carjacked Fate’s ride. Next, she’ll be stealing your wife too!

Nanoha is Daddy, Fate is Mommy and the forwards bow down to them in front of their Big Bed of Yuri Love.

Oniichan!

The power of S.I.S.C.O.N. compels you! The power of S.I.S.C.O.N. compels you!

There was once a wizard called Clow. And a little girl called Sakura Kinomoto…

Mommy and Daddy are home!
So… it looks like the TSAB is not monolithic. The current military leader seems to dislike Gill Graham, the Velka style and the Saint Church. On the other hand, the Church is in custody of some mysterious Velka language scrolls and the baddies aren’t just after relics but are bent on the destruction of the TSAB and the dismantling of the Administration System itself. *Dun dun dun*
[Add:]

The Determination of Hayate Yagami.
Go go Hayate-chan!
Those scrolls are actually prophecies made by Carim and written in Ancient Belkan (hence the blur looks on Nanoha and Fate when they tried to read it). Her seer ability is only usable when the celestial bodies are properly aligned, and one of her latest ones was particularly disturbing.
Roughly translated, it says-
“A King Will Perish.
A Tower Will Fall.
A Ship Will Sink.”
Cheers.
General Regius Gaze’s only in charge of the ”Ground Forces” of TSAB though ^^;; It is to be noted that he ALSO despise the Navy division.
A ‘winning’ combination there! :p
Ah, departement/branch infighting. Just what a system presumably about to face a major crisis needs. Wherever you go, humans remain a bunch of clannish monkeys incapable of seeing past their short noses. ^_^
“Nanoha is Daddy, Fate is Mommy and the forwards bow down to them in front of their Big Bed of Yuri Love.”…hahahah, what a classic (and awesome) caption! Poor Hayate seems to be missing out some. T_T
Skane, thanks for the added translation firepower!
Chaos2Frozen, Watchman, certainly Riot Force 6 represents an alternative to inter-service rivalry and true jointness… though it’s mainly held together by the personal friendships of three pretty girls with lesbian tendencies. :P
Ashram, thanks. Weep not for Hayate-chan - because Riot Force 6 is practically her own extended harem! Esp in the light of the StrikerS Sound Stage where she wishes she wasn’t so busy otherwise she could sex hara the newbies! LOL
That one screenshot looks like he got caught looking at Hayate pr0n at work, lol.
@Zyl
I was refering only to the General ^^;;
You could see how other smarter leaders like Chrono working together with them :D Desipte all the hell they had probably put him through till this point ^^;;
The real reason he’s so bitter about Hayate and Gil.
Chaos2Frozen, doh!
Shinzantetsu, I’d be too! Esp since if you marry Hayate, you get her harem too. Signum-neesan, mmmm…. :P
Woot, just watched 12, and the team strategy was by far the best of the season. While the rookies still kinda suck, they were sorta useful this time. However, watching the large cast of higher ups working together was soooo sweet, as they lured the enemies into various strategic positions.
Random observations: Ginga-nee’s “war suit” probably violates some kind of law or regulation somewhere, as its armour-y bits would actually render useful service as real mundane armour - making it pretty much unique in the entire Nanoha canon.
Damn fed spooks. Can’t trust ‘em. ò_ó
The Numbers just might resemble a real (if rather tiny) military unit the most of all the outfits seen thus far. Probably the uniform jumpsuits that does it.
Elio and Caro seem to regard Tea and Subaru with some degree of awe.
Given the level of collateral urban renewal the Force Six heavies inflict in passing, it’s not hard to see why the brass insists on the limiters on the military’s high-end mages.
Tea’s clearly NCO if not officer material; she demonstrates real initiative a cut noticeably above the standard “trained monkey” level of military line grunts. Probably why her ambition is to become an Enforcer - investigation duty has to be a fair bit more intellectually stimulating than playing King of the Monkeys to a bunch of primates… ^_^
Mind you, Subaru would probably make a very good frontline NCO as long as someone smarter told her when and where to lead fearless charge.
More random notes: Force Six is starting to resemble the “through-deck cruiser” coverup the Royal Navy pulled to get its new ships approved. If the damn brass (in this case, General Rectally Retentive Beard apparently) won’t authorize aquiring the tools needed, work around them.
Yesy’s sponsor-page commentaries are sometimes pure gold. “Rainbows are straight compared to Subaru” 4tw.
A detail I found interesting was the passing references to the legal relationship between Hayate and the Wolkenritter. In ep 13 General Beardy’s ADC or whatever Whatshername calls them something to the effect of “the commander’s private forces consisting of relatives” and Nanoha refers to them as “the Yagami Family” at the end, which offers interesting insight into how Midchildan jurisdication views the matter. It could be theorized they’re legally classified as something like familiars due to them being in essence magical lifeform sub-components of the Book of Sava… Darkness, which in turn is basically Hayate’s Device - what now with an exceptionally strong (as in “’till (your) death do us part”) bond with its owner.
Gin-nee’s barrier jacket is pretty sexy. Plus she is onee. ;)
I can’t remember what Lt Gen Regius’s assistant-dono’s name is either. I have mentally tagged as Miss Longueville.
Plus whenever I hear ‘Yagami Family’, I just imagine the whole lot of them in MIB get-ups, smoking cigarettes, kneecapping mages who stray on their turf and rackets as well as having cosplay contraband delivered via the Lagoon Company.
“Tom, give this job to Clemenza.” “Yes Godfather.”
Ô_ò
Now that’s some mental image. Especially if you can’t help picturing Vita with the Dejiko ears due to 4-koma influence… x_x;
(It doesn’t particularly help that I keep associating Signum with Chinatsu Nakayama from Doki Doki School Hours these days.)
